Diabetes Management That Works for You The TempoSmart™ Apk collects and analyzes diabetes-related data that has been captured by the Tempo Smart Button™ and a connected Tempo Blood Glucose Meter (BGM) or Dexcom Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System. It also collects and analyzes the data brought in from your compatible health and wellness apks. The effect is personalized diabetes self-management data that you can manage from your phone. Tempo is indicated for people 18 years of age and older only. The TempoSmart App: -Brings your diabetes info together in one place* -Automatically or manually records your blood glucose readings and insulin data and is compatible with the Dexcom CGM System†‡§ -Provides you with the info you need to have discussions with your healthcare professional|| -Provides you with diabetes-related education, help options, and reminders -Is compatible with apks from wearable devices such as Apple Health, Google Fit™, Fitbit®, and Garmin® The TempoSmart Apk is a central component of the Tempo™ Personalized Diabetes Management Platform, which also contains a: -Tempo Pen™ (insulin¶ pen) -Tempo Smart Button™ -Tempo BGM The Tempo Smart Button must be attached to your Tempo Pen. The Button is then paired to your TempoSmart Apk via Bluetooth® wireless technology, which allows you to transmit insulin dose-related data captured by the Button. This data can then be shared to the Tempo Insights™ portal where it can be viewed by your healthcare professional. The apk then combines your insulin dose-related data with the values from your Tempo BGM to provide you with personalized insights for your diabetes treatment. The TempoSmart Apk can be used without a prescribed compatible device, with limited features, for up to 180 days. *To transfer your insulin dose-related data automatically, the Tempo Smart Button™ must be connected to the apk and be within 9 feet (3 meters) of your Bluetooth® enabled mobile device. You can also enter your insulin dosing info manually. †Follow your BGM and/or CGM instructions for automatic data transfer to occur. ‡The first time you connect a Dexcom CGM, TempoSmartTM syncs the latest 30 days of glucose data. The current day's data is only accessible on a 3-hour delay. §Warning: Do not create dosing decisions based on CGM data from the TempoSmart Apk. Follow instructions on your CGM system. ||Warning: The Tempo Personalized Diabetes Management Platform is intended to assist help the management of your diabetes.
