  Charles Liu: This is an perfect apk that perfectly complements the TempSpike. It sends me instant notifications while cooking, and let's me analyze me results afterwards with detailed temperature graphs. What's more, the wire-free operation of the TempSpike really needs an efficient, portable player interface that can only be probided on something like this. I really have fun using this apk and its product, and I don't see myself going back to traditional wired thermometers anytime soon. Highly suggested.

  Steve Cullen: Apk is ok. Graphing function is better than their another products but having ambient would create it better. A lot of people complain that the process never closes but my experience with their another apk is that it closes all the time and you lose your history Also please provide the ability to name your probes. I often have 2-3 various meat probes at the same time and can never remember which is which. Nicknames would be good so I can change each time. Modernize 3/9- good additions, can rename

  Jamie Leupold: So much more reliable than the wired thermapro apk, hardly ever disconnects and reconnects quickly when it does. Have used it for a couple steaks perfectly but the true try was an 12 hr brisket. Ambient temp seems a bit off but I use wired probes to maintain that, temps are close enough on the cook for this to be extremely helpful. I use it as a tutorial for when I could begin paying more attention and to allow me know if something goes off the rails. Works good for that.

  NAC: Love that i can make my own protein profile and target temp, also love that one probe tells me the internal and external temp. No problems with range. I'm 50' away in the house and monitoring my brisket perfectly. It's a good probe!

  Greg Doyon: Apk looks and feels awesome. The physical device itself is also very awesome. The only complaint is not being able to set a minimum temperature for the meal temp for situations where the meet needs to rest before being slash or refrigerated (pulled pork and brisket, for example).

  Daniel McCollum: Love this wireless thermometer. We discovered that we have been overcooking our meat. Chicken and pork is now juicy and tender. It's simple to use. The apk could present the battery levels of the spike/transmitter. There is a light which shows the spike or the transmitter needs charged. You have to charge both at the same time. Time to finish cooking is never correct (method too long). The ambient temperature is off about 50 degrees. With some improvements this should be a 5 star product.

  Joe Sweere: When everything works, it works good. If you search it's crashing constantly, uninstall and reinstall the apk from scratch and this might assist out. The apk itself isn't the epitome of ellegant, and failure means scrambling for other probe to hold temps for you. I'd hold your old wired probes handy in case this fails for you.

  Waterproof: Coming from the Meater+. I was hoping to receive a related experience with the exception of the awful connection I had with it but the range exceeded my expectations, however; I would love to see the following: - Ability to log in cooks. - Ability to connect to a cloud for readings beyond the 500ft. - A more intuitive player interface - Present you your current cooking time. - Better method to input temperatures -Updating customers on future and upcoming features. Display battery on probe and base.

  Sean Zad-Langan: So far the apk seems to work well, but goodness gracious are the presets incorrect! Medium pork is 145, not 160, 160 is well done. The FDA allows 145 in their rules. Lamb is listed at 140 for rare(that's medium) once more, 120 is correct. Beef is calling 125 rare, which is still wrong, but closer. Poultry is 165, could be 160, and a dark meat setpoint would be nice(185)

  Charles McIntosh: Same problems, as others have mentioned. UI works well enough, but the history and record features are broken. Fix the random shut downs, add a method to reset where you left off if the apk closes and it wouldn't harm if some off the presets were set for smoking, I'm not using this to grill/pan sear/broil a steak. I'm looking for presets for smoking a poet butt, a brisket or a whole chicken.

  Jeff Green: Just got it, and it paired without problem, and remained connected through most of a long smoke. The apk could let you to resume a cook, in case you accidentally slay the apk. Also the x and y axis scaling of the temp graph on a longer should should use some improvement. (At the very least it could default to showing the furthest right of the graph so you see most latest temp) Visually, the apk looks quite dated, certainly not on par with tournament (chef iq for example).

  Arjan Bok: The Tempspike works good BUT it is very annoying to do a long cook and begin recording to search that if I turn the smartphone off it does not continue in the background and all the graph is lost. I am doing a pork shoulder today for around 12 hours and I really don't need to hold my smartphone on for the whole session.

Second time I used it, the external temperature indicator would jump from 280 to 400 even though my grill thermometer indicated a steady 350. I spent half an hour standing over my tritip trying to treat the burners so I should dial it in before I realized it my temp is ok and the indicator must be broken. Super frustrating.

  Jason Sanchez: The thermometer itself is good with perfect range. I've noticed complaints about the apk that have already been resolved. Such as Ambient temperature graphing. Right now I'm in the middle of a brisket cook. I have the S22+. Here are some flaws I am experiencing. If you don't leave the apk running in the back ground it will stop sending you notifications. If you use your smartphone too much while running the apk in the background it will stop graphing your cook. Fingers crossed for future updates!
