  Donnie Herring: Apk used to display metrics from around the globe for comparison purposes. But that feature is now gone. I was able to use that feature once during our quorum court meeting to emphasize the dire lack of connectivity our county suffers in true time with approved data. Revised to 4 since the nature and intent was to advise national officials of the lack of credible broadband connectivity and I hope the apk fulfills that goal...i will continue to use to seed that data.

  Peter Brown: Not sure what to think about this apk yet. When I use the apk SpeedTest I receive results that are right on with the speed I am supposed to be getting. when I use Testit the results are about half the speed I'm supposed to be getting. It's not making sense to me at this point.

  A Google user: No advertisements, but it's really primary and doesn't shop your results to refer back to later. I wanted to use this instead of Ookla, but it's of more use to its data receivers than to the player.

  Matt VanNostran: wont try wireless. Sure I receive cellular at home, but its rate limited and throttled. I dont look forward to the time when when the telcos have us pay based on our usage. If you've had to use satellite internet you know what I'm worried about. Its funny that satelitte tv never had thst kind of payment model.
