Plus I can send him pics that are already in my smartphone or on my iPad with a notice. It's so much easier than having to buy stamps and go to the post office.

There's nothing easier then this and will let you to interact with your loved ones on a everyday basis on top of the fact that you can attach pics with your texts allowing your loved ones to see all the changes in people,places and things while there away. Good idea!!
