Reviews and Recent Comments:
Paul Blake: Good to finally have the Atlantic on Android device. Of course, the content is unbelievable and the apk itself is clean, easy and focused on the reading experience. As an international reader, the begin of an Android device apk has prompted me to take out a subscription rather than just reading the odd article.

Scott J: The Atlantic is good, and a lot of articles only accessible online

Edward Perrin: I like the Atlantic apk.

Tim Reeb: Solid early effort. Apparently the apk has been out since August and I'm only just now discovering it. Works well so far though, everything loads fast enough, the apk animates smoothly, and it's beautiful simple to navigate too. Not sure what all the negative reviews are for, but this apk works and looks perfectly ok for me.

Dan: All the complaints about this apk are overblown. I like it a lot.

Dead Eagle: The apk must be renamed to The Pacific.

Steven Belcher: At latest. This Android device apk has been promised for some time. Very satisfied with it but I would appreciate a facility that allows a digital download of the actual magazine. Perhaps related to the Washington Post apk. I know I can do this off the site but if it can be added to the apk that would be good.

José L. Rodríguez: Good content. Simple to use apk.

Stuart V: Best Journalism around. Really good "today" section.
User rated this game 5/5 on 2021-11-20
Janet Bray: Very informative! Although it's clear that this is primarily a liberal magazine and the journalism is attentive to show both sides.

Steven Pardo: So glad to finally have an apk! To add to others' comments I would really love: dark mode, find, and the ability to save articles!

Kevin Elliott: A beautiful unbelievable news apk, with a clean, efficient design. Doesn't receive hung up or slow down the smartphone. Only thing that makes it 4 rather than 5 stars is that it doesn't have a dark mode. It's 2022, dark mode ought to be standard.

Sarah Crabbleapple: Finally, an Android device apk! It works well enough for a fresh release, but I hope that there's a dark mode soon - I'm light sensitive, so white backgrounds harm my eyes. Being able to save or bookmark articles would be good, too. Good begin!

Carlin De La Rosa: The Atlantic finally drops an apk for Android device, but I cannot sign in because my subscription is connected to my Google acc, and the apk does not have that feature.

Louis Subramaniam: Wasn't expecting an apk! Let's try it out.

mela pyper: Good graphics!

Douglas Lowder: Works fine on my Android device e-reader, except for one VERY necessary missing feature -- help for screen rotation. The NY Times and the Guardian apks don't have this trouble. If you fixed this problem I would move my rating up to 5 stars :)

Mihir Trivedi: There are quite a few primary thing which the apk is missing like a find bar, and a smooth method to go to author pages. And it also automatically logs you out when going to an older article. Perhaps, as it is still in dev phase, it would be sorted in near future.

Aaron Wolf: Honestly I'm just glad it exists. The another reviews are right: No find, minimal interface... That this is what they finally released in 2021 is type of unhappy. But, hey, it exists. Congratulations, Atlantic, I'm subscribing once more since I can now finally read the articles without [checks notes] downloading a pdf. Welcome to the modern era, you receive a gold star, and my cash.

David Kline: Baffling. Despite being a digital ver of a magazine, there is no method to access the content by problem date. Nor can you search older content. Or bookmark articles for later reading. It's only upside is you can easily see the newest content, and the content itself is perfect.

SpencerNita Hines: The apk is awesome, but I use a smartphone, not a smartphone, and the apk will not rotate to horizontal. This is beautiful much a deal breaker for me, since I use my keyboard as a stand.

James van Scoyoc: It's a good apk for the news content, but I'm very disappointed that the crossword puzzle section often wipes away my progress on partially completed puzzles.

James Prather: As of 15 Sep 2021, it's just a branded browser. Can't save articles. Switching from The Atlantic "apk" to other apk, then immediately returning, resets itself, losing article progress & reverting to home page of "apk." After such a LONG wait for an Android device apk, this is a remarkable disappointment — considering especially the functionality that the iOS apk has had for years. For those of us paying for a substantial annual subscription to The Atlantic, please design a legitimate Android device apk.

Michael Garber: Needs a find function. I read the website on my mobile browser because I can't search old or fresh stories in the apk.

A _: I paid $60 for a subscription yet I still receive ads? Also, there's no dark mode... in an apk intended for reading.
User rated this game 3/5 on 2022-04-11
Caitlin Carle: If there's an option to find for articles, I can't search it.
User rated this game 2/5 on 2021-12-02
Peter Ste: It's fine. But keeps needing me to sign in which is most inconvenient.
User rated this game 2/5 on 2022-05-02
H K: That took long enough. Finally we have an app...but it shows they didnt test.
User rated this game 3/5 on 2021-11-07
Matthias Baldwin: The crossword puzzles are unplayable, unlike on the Web page.
User rated this game 2/5 on 2021-11-05
Eric Youngdale: Apk won't remember password, and constantly hounds me to log in. Easier to just not read the article than look up the password.
User rated this game 2/5 on 2022-05-15
Art Xieu: Subscribers deserve more than this primary apk. No find function, no dark mode, no landscape mode, etc. It doesn't add anything useful to reading the web website
User rated this game 2/5 on 2022-04-17
Christopher Parks: Good content but it logs me out every few days. Come on, guys. I don't need a fancy apk, but this is primary items.
User rated this game 2/5 on 2022-05-04
Ziad Noueihed: It's a decent begin but still needs a lot of work
User rated this game 2/5 on 2021-11-10
Dave M: It's a nice method to read content, but without a find function (huh?) it's very limited. It would also be helpful for the apk to answer to links and recommend opening in the apk versus on the web.
User rated this game 2/5 on 2022-02-12
Michael Domen: Apk is ok, but how on earth does it have neither a find function, nor a regular contributors list? If I wish to read anything by, say, McWorther, I can only do so if he happens to be in one of the sections, I can't search an overview of one author's texts for example. Very, very awful in that respect.

Rahul Thombre: Changed my rating to 3* from 1*. The apk has an problem where it didn't like certain heroes in passwords even though I should log on to the site with the same password. I have notified The Atlantic help squad. The apk layout looks nice and clean. It is missing some functionality which I have in another news apks - therefore giving it 3* 1. No ability to save articles for reading later / offline reading 2. No ability to find for (older) articles 3. No dark mode Hopefully future versions will add these capabilities and I will modernize my rating at that point.

Md. Golam Kibria: Do it gratis in some extent!
User rated this game 2/5 on 2021-09-16
Kathy Strauch: I am frustrated by lack of a find feature. I am paying for a subscription to the magazine, but can't find for articles I see referenced elsewhere and wish to read.
User rated this game 2/5 on 2022-04-30
Eric Allard: Nice enough as a reader, but fatally flawed. No find, and no method to bookmark articles? A lack of those features are large misses. I'd much rather use an apk than dealing with a mobile browser, but the apk forces me to miss out on too a lot of features and articles. Please, add these primary features and create this apk everything it should be. Your good content deserves much better than this.
User rated this game 2/5 on 2022-06-13
Stephen Tarr: The content is exceptional. The player experience is appalling. You can no longer save articles to read later which means unless you read an article within a few days it drops off the feed never to be seen once more. There is no find function either, so unless you catch an article the min it is published it is lost forever. This apk has got worse and is making me seriously consider my subscription, which saddens me.
