  Ryan Nightingale: A real gem A remarkable mini game. Truly enjoyed it. Art is easy and clean, not over stylized like so a lot of another RPG's or mini games in general. Soundtrack is A+. Story is compelling and choice making can be a challenge. Combat is challenging and not overloaded with menus and HUD'S or complicated interfaces. This mini game works on every level. It's only shortcoming is that it ends. I'm hooked. I wish more.

  Corvus Corax: Good immersive mini game Firstly, I've played it on my Note 2 with Phantom ROM and it was smooth (it would take a bit to restore the visuals if smartphone was locked in a middle of a video test and one should see how graphics are loaded layer by layer, but that is not a video test though) and bug gratis throughout. Illustrations are superb! Although some choices presented don't really give a method as to what is the outcome going to be (as not to contain any spoilers, I will not mention specifics), it is really nice mini game. Some may see it as a charm of the mini game - not knowing what will happen, for me though - it was a bit frustrating at times. The strategies (wars) are really fun. Anyone into turn based RPG's will have fun it. Interface should use some tweaking (like choosing a tile to move to can sometimes be difficult). Nevertheless, I enjoyed the mini game and it gets the whole 5 stars from me.

  Justin Bench: Oustanding mini game! This is hands down the best strategies mini game I've ever played, and I've played all the ones worth mention. Both story and video test are immersive, intricate, and realistic. Writing is exceptionally awesome. Sure the load screens take too long, and the nav bar gets stuck sometimes, but I don't even care. Good work.

  Martin De Biasi: Best Mini game I've Played On Mobile. Occasional crash on Nexus 9 doesn't change the fact that this is the best RPG / tac mini game I've played on mobile. Forget ports of old classics, Banner Saga makes sense, special and challenging combat, unbelievable art style, gripping story and good mix of video test elements. More of this, less crummy dull ports from the 90s.

  Matthew Robinson: Banner saga Good tactic mini game, now for Android device devices! Runs good, attractive melody, good animation, highly suggested for lovers of turn based tactic RPG. Scaleable difficulty, not too much micro managment, but the mini game utilizes deep strategic concepts. Be ready for lots of worthwhile reading, as the story is epic and well told. I am running it on an HTC one M8.

  S Hart: This mini game is an elegantly produced piece of art. It has an engrossing story that takes you on a adventure through an imaginative apocalyptic globe. It has a lot of finely fleshed out heroes. The melody and art are really attractive. What a unbelievable mobile port! When I first tried this mini game on my smartphone it was unplayable. My fresh smartphone played it without a hitch. I learned to appreciate the chess like turn structure over time, though it was uncomfortable at first (being used to another SRPG mini games.) It added to the challenge. No messy advertisements or extra purchases to break immersion. My largest complaint is that all awesome things end. This is one of the best mini games on mobile. I am looking forward to Banner Saga 3!

Fine, I have just finished it and these are my feelings about it: pros:+ choice, choice, choice - feel like playing it once more; +depth - mature and interesting story; + Heroes - memorable and alive; + Classic 2d painted - feel like old time but better. + awesome ending; Cons: - too short, never enough of a awesome thing; - only 5 lvls and 1 item per char, well I can live with it but...; - boring stuff; - final war too simple. Overall: for me one of the best rpgs I have ever played (only BG is superior over it).

  V is for Void: Epic Turn Based Combat RPG Majestic, sweeping, epic saga of survivors battling through a dying globe of frost and fire, Stoic's debut mini game is a must-play! Pros: Superb art & art design inspired by Norse mythology and Eyvind Earle (Sleeping Beauty). Deep tactical turn based combat. Con's: Somewhat linear story. UPDATE: I've logged 80 hrs in the Steam ver of the mini game, so it's secure to say I love it! The Android device ver is just as full featured, if not more so (cloud saves, anytime zoom), and has perfect power efficiency and controls so don't keep back. Perfect job, Stoic, looking forward to BanSaga 2!
