This is the full Catholic Encyclopedia (1909), consisting of over 12,000 articles. All the articles are cross-linked to each another and the updated Douay-Rheims English ver of the Bible. This apk ver contains a text-to-speech option and the original graphics. It also contains the Summa Theologiea and the Bible as additional references. The Catholic Encyclopedia, as its name implies, proposes to give its readers a full set and authoritative info on the full cycle of Catholic interests, action and doctrine. Exactly what the Church teaches and has taught; what she has done and is still doing for the highest welfare of mankind; her ways, past and show; her struggles, her triumphs, and the achievements of her members, not only for her own immediate benefit, but for the broadening and deepening of all real science, literature and art - all these come within the scope of the Catholic Encyclopedia. It differs from the general encyclopedia in omitting facts and info which do not have a relation to the Church. In the determination of the truth the most latest and acknowledged scientific ways are employed, and the results of the recent research in theology, philosophy, history, apologetics, archeology, and another sciences are given attentive consideration.
