About the application:

The GHS Apk was developed by students for students, staff, and parents. The GHS Apk allows students, staff, and parents to search a lot of resources without having to navigate through a browser or begin multiple tabs. Features that we brought over from the prior apk contain direct access to Aeries, bell schedules, activity calendar, school map, and contact information. The fresh features that we are excited to release are the following: Teacher Find Engine - Allows students to search out more about their teachers - After searching for a teacher, the teacher's email, room number, and short description allows students to connect with their teachers both personally and academically - Email drafts can be created directly from the apk, allowing students to quickly communicate with their teachers Social Media - A Twitter timeline has been implemented in the apk, keeping students updated on announcements at GHS - Both Ig and YouTube will begin the respective apks if the student/staff/parent owns these apks. If not, an in-app browser will pop up. Tartan Happenings - A live calendar feed will hold students, staff, and parents up to date with upcoming dances, assemblies, and more - The odd/even calendar is also imported to let students to quickly check if today is an odd or even day Opening Links - All links on the apk begin in a browser that remains within the apk. - By using an in-app browser as opposed to opening the stock browser apk, students/teachers/parents can quickly navigate back to continue utilizing another resources on the app Secret Easter Eggs?? - Be on the lookout for possible hidden features that will lead to a prize The GHS Apk is an adaptation of Glendora High's former apk: "GHS HQ". As students, we used the GHS HQ apk on a everyday basis. Whether it was finding out when the bell rang, or where our next class was, a school apk created the transition into high school a breeze.
