  After reading all negative reviews, I just about didn't install. Unlike previous reviews, I found articles timely, pertinent, simple to search. Articles are also categorized. I'll add a star after I use this a few weeks.

  Zac Stephens: Much faster and smoother than the previous apk, but lacks some functionality. Please add more categories (as previous) for better browsing. Especially with the one-at-a-time scroll this is annoying.

  Monica Dobbins: The apk works ok, but doesn't work with Fb. Despite the fact that I am a paying subscriber, when I begin links in Fb I receive the paywall, every time. Clicking the link to "sign in" just returns me to the paywall! Very frustrating!

  The Salt Lake Tribune has perhaps the worst news apk I've ever experienced. About on par for the paper--poor functionality and design. As well, news reporting is negative and biased. It's just as well, I am deleting apk and adding KSL's.

  Marita Mathie: I'm so disappointed with the Tribune's fresh apk! Today, when I opened it, I saw a picture of a woman with pink hair, but no headline! I had to tap the picture to receive the headline. And that was the only "news" story! After that there were 3 sports stories, 2 opinion pieces, 4 stories on religion, and 6 stories on arts and living. Most days, there are more sports stories than news. And the settings section is a joke! No method to prioritize the sections I wish to see. The old apk was so much better!

  Jeff Kurrus: This appears to be a rough draft of an apk. It looks nice, and might have some improved functionality over the old Tribune apk, but it's a tiny awkward to use. The news is days old, and the link to comments doesn't work. I'll stick with viewing the trib in a browser, and check on this apk once more after a few updates. Right now it's awful.

  Jason White: Old apk was just ok. However, the SL Tribune felt need to make this fresh garbage of an apk. I guess winning a Pulitzer has nothing to do with apk design. Now you cannot choose which stories you wish to read. You have to scroll through every story. Also let's not forget to mention news stories from months, even years ago popping up. Salt Tribune, this apk sucks! Fix it or bring back the old one. Or stick to releasing printed news.

  Barry Solomon: The reason I installed this apk was because the old one would not load anything another than obituaries. The fresh app's description said it's essentially a completely fresh tool. Yes, it is a completely fresh program...now, it crashes and I can't even read obituaries. This tool is an embarrassment for a newspaper that touts its Pulitzer Prize in the program's description.

  8/7/17 I don't love the fresh format but I think I should receive used to it. This apk is better at bragging about the Pulitzer they won than giving actual news. One trouble is that some of the stories are so old. I just read an article about a poll conducted on gay marriage that was at least a year old, why is this still a headline? It mentioned "presidential hopeful Rick Santorum". No date was attached to the story so I have no method of knowing when it came out.

  Joseph B Shaffer: Old apk no longer functions. Fresh apk is cumbersone, unintuitive, and dysfunctional. I will delete apk after I finish my comments. I think this apk is linked to the Washington Post, whose archives I hold getting sent to. I've been a past subscriber to the sltrib for over 30 years until my home delivery became intermittent delivery. And then 7 days to 3. So I used the old apk, not good, but usable. The fresh apk is awful. I'm replacing this apk with the Reuters apk. Sorry Sltrib...once once more you have failed me.
