This tiny gem of a ebook is about the Holy Rosary, by St. Louis de Montfort (1673 - 1716), a French priest. The ebook discusses the power of the rosary and gives a number of short sections called Roses, each about one or two pages long. Each Rose discusses a separate view of the Rosary, for example priests against lay people. The ebook also discusses two various ways of praying the rosary, with three extra ways listed in the ebook God Alone, based on the collected writings of Montfort. The ebook has an introduction and two main parts 1) "What the Rosary is" and 2) "How to Recite it". The ebook is structured with 53 "Roses" or sections. The introduction has three various Roses: 1) White Roses for priests, 2) Red Roses for sinners, and 3) Mystical Rose Trees for devout souls. These three Roses encapsulate the multi-viewed approach taken by the ebook. The counsel for priests about using the Rosary to save sinners is directly similar to the tip given to sinners on how to use the Rosary for salvation. This theme continues throughout the ebook, each Rose gently leading to other, in the process gradually revealing different "secrets" about how to approach the Rosary and how to recite and use it.
