Shop and edit patches on your THR amplifier directly from your smartphone or tablet! Yamaha's THR series are terrific tiny amplifiers. Unfortunately they only have the ability to shop 5 patches on-board. The only method you can access more than 5 patches is hook your amp up to a PC or Mac and install Yamaha's THR Editor application. In addition, some of the amplifier effects such as the compressor are only available through Yamaha's PC application. Until now. Introducing THR Librarian. Simply attach your Android device smartphone or smartphone to your amplifier using a USB On-The-Go adapter, and you can switch between patches and edit them right from your device. What you need: - An Android device smartphone or Smartphone that supports USB On-The-Go. - A Yamaha THR5, THR5A, THR10, THR10C or THR10X amplifier (THR-II series not currently supported). - The USB cable that came with your amplifier. - A USB OTG adapter. If your smartphone has a USB Micro-AB connector, you will need an adapter like this one: http://a.co/3mustjw. If your smartphone has a USB Type-C connector, you will need an adapter like this one: http://a.co/fBZA0vM. The gratis ver of the apk allows you to try your connection and load the built-in demo patches. A single in-app purchase is offered if you want to unblock the full feature set, which will let you to: - Download patches from your amplifier. - Modify all of the parameters accessible on your amp, including ones not directly available such as the compressor. The editor also changes in real-time as you adjust the parameters on your amp. - Organize your patches using labels, just like famous email apks. Use labels to mark your favorite patches, or make a set list for a live performance. - Use the hotkey feature in combination with a Bluetooth HID keyboard or pedal board (e.g. https://www.airturn.com/407.html) for hands-free patch switching. - Import patches from .YDP and .YDP files. - Rename and delete patches. - Share patches via email, Google Drive, Android device Beam, etc. - Keep all future updates for the life of the product. Troubleshooting: In the unlikely happening that THR Librarian is unable to connect to your amplifier: 1) Verify your amplifier is able to connect to Yamaha's THR Editor on your PC. 2) Verify your phone/tablet supports USB OTG using one of the gratis OTG checker apks in the Play Store. 3) Test plugging a USB thumb drive into your USB OTG adapter; your phone/tablet could automatically recognize the drive. Note if you have a OnePlus device, USB OTG is disabled by default, and must be enabled under Settings/Advanced. It also automatically turns off 10 mins after it is enabled. You can permanently enable it by following the instructions here: https://www.xda-developers.com/enable-always-on-otg-oxygenos/. If these checks all succeed and you are still not able to receive the apk to connect, please contact us directly at [email protected]. Note we are unable to provide help for connection problems through the Play Shop review channel, as it only permits a single character-limited response. Please note that prior to v2.10 each feature was accessible for purchase individually. A lot of players found this to be confusing, so as of v2.10 the features have been combined into one single purchase. John James: I've been waiting a few years for an apk like this. At latest I don't have to plug my thr into my PC to change and choose settings. My only comment would be to be able to adjust the overall output volume for those tones with less master volume and gain. Overall a heavy thank you.

Alex: Love it thanks. Would be good if you should add double tap on a particular editable parameter to return it to standard setting quickly. I know i should turn a dial on the amp but that defaults all. Mainly for things like eq and the ok tuning of the effects, compressor etc

Ian Evans: Amazed to search an editor in the apk latest night - just what I was hoping for. However, the apk now repeatedly crashes when I attempt to edit on my THR10C, also some of the edited settings will not save. Modernize 13th November - the apk is much better now, this developer is extremely responsive to feedback.

Jan Aleksander Gomez: Works good and I can controlled my amp without plugging it into a computer. Good service as well. The only thing not quite selfexplained is that you could send the ydp or ydl to your mobile and save it were it must suit you. when trying to begin those files you could select to begin with librarian and set it as default. only then you would be able to begin your libraries. Simple after you now how :)

Neil Summers: The ability to edit parameters on the THR amps, as well as unlocking 'hidden' settings makes the amps so much better! This apk allows you to do this using an android device device rather than a PC or Mac - good work and super apk!

Coach Ron Nash: I purchased the THR 10 and soon realized that Yamaha's apk SUCKED!!! Considering there was no footswitch to change presets. Then I found this apk in a chatroom. I checkrd it out and immediately LOVED it. However, I took it a step further and discovered the Airturn Duo Bluetooth footswitch with an android device device controlled my THR 10 in a very limited method. So I sent a note to this apk developer who immediately updated the apk to work with my Bluetooth footswitch to controll my device better. In short, I know have a bluetooth foot controller for my Yamaha THR10!!!

Robin Marshall: A gorgeous addition to my THR10. The only improvement for me would be to let for a bluetooth foot controller connection, then it would be the excellent pack. I would even consider using it live mic'ed up via the PA!
