  Ross Baird: This apk is good, quick, and beautiful efficient too. Has been really good for exploring possible routes in the hills and recording journeys. Modernize from latest review: Application publisher was fast to fix the problem I raised regarding viewing recorded routes crashing the apk. Much better :).

  A Google User: Clean and easy. Altho downloads problematic Why does downloading seem to stop without completing all tiles?. (I AM using wireless connection). I then have to go back and continue. Cant seem to receive it to download really big parts all at once. Once solved i will rate apk 5 stars.

  Dirk Pons: Route planning does not work. Will not save and reload roures. It is fine as a primary map. It does not have a lot of features. It behaves well with downloaded maps when off line, which is something that competitive products have not always got right. However a lot of features like waypoints and route planning do not work well or are unintuitive.

  John Hodgson: Thks for your response however some of us clearly wish to download more than a few tiles. I hunt, tramp and fish all over NZ. I have the storage capabilities on my smartphone, who doesn't these days, and it makes sense to download everything at once to save mucking around. My smartphone has a max screen timeout of 10 minute. Even a modest chunk does not download in that time and I am on high speed fibre. How hard would it be to let background downloads? Every another apk does that I use. So far I've been at it for a few days and I'm a long method from finished. Bear in mind that I can't do anything else on my smartphone another than stare at it while your apk is download. Please!

  Peter Richardson: Extremely frustrating. Requires a large amount of work and time to receive offline maps working. RZDL servers are extremely slow and downloading 6.5 gb of map data took 10+ hours over multiple days on a 200mb connection. Additionally, the apk must be begin (no changing apks or even entering split screen) and the screen must remain on (on a s9 the screen timeout max is 10min, so every 10 minutes download would stop). Not sure what the developers were thinking here, this is perhaps the only android device apk that i've come across that doesn't let background downloads. Finally if that wasn't awful enough, the download will stop periodically even if it hasn't been touched. Save your sanity and download something else (although sadly not a lot of options).
