  Miguel Soto: Modernize.... the scheduler does not work which is a large inconvenience. Gives an internal error and closes the apk... EVERY TIME. I love this ac but the scheduler not working is really getting me angry because we should be saving a beautiful awesome amount of cash. *** Old review*** Finally got this to work!! Obviously still needs work... not sure if this is why it worked. I followed the instructions to the letter but when you connect to the a.c. unit's Wi-Fi, you go into your Wi-Fi and forget your network and input your password in the apk. Let's the apk set up your phones Wi-Fi once more bit it worked

  David B: Setup didn't work on my smartphone. It kept stopping at 90% while trying to reconnect my smartphone to home WiFi, even though it was already reconnected. The apk is unsupported on both tablets in the house and didn't present up in the play shop. I ended up getting it to work by searching for the app and installing it on my smartphone. Once the setup was completed on the smartphone, the ac showed up on my smartphone.

  Tony Bologna: Yes, as the another reviews state, this apk is awful. I experienced the same "90% Faild" error but got it working. You will need to go into your WiFi preferences menu and turn off the auto connect settings so the Toshiba apk can have control over the network connections. Also, just to be secure, forget your home WiFi network and set that up during the Toshiba apk setup. Hope this helps someone! Also... I'm now getting a "Control failed, please test once more" pop-up notice from this apk even as I'm writing this review... Maybe I could change to one star. But at least I'm connected to the AC!

  Rodrigo Ferreira: You need to erase your home wireless connection password before trying to setup the apk to avoid auto reconnect from breaking setup and getting stuck at 99%. Displays incorrect info about indoor temperature. Sleep curve and front end is just badly designed.

This just straight up does not work and might as well be a straight up lie printed on the box of the air conditioner. This apk is garbage. The "internet of things" is garbage.   jack nella testimonianza delocalizzazione: so toshiba outsources their ACs to medea, who outsources their apks to these idiots. this apk will not and can not connect by design, and if any of the coders actually daw a picture of a true cell smartphone this would be beautiful obvious to them. You cannot connect manually, because the idiot coders know better than you. So it must complete 5 steps itself, the latest of which is to reconnect your smartphone to your wireless connection router, except once automatically disconnected from the AC's access point your smartphone automatically reconnects to wireless connection before the apk can, so the process freezes at 90% final step. No one can hold their non-rooted smartphone from automatically reconnecting, and the toshiba(medea) hard remote sucks while it's still in one piece But I fully expect an modernize within this century. If the Chinese are hacking us we deserve it, because they're utterly incompetent

  John Seda: Just purchased a brand fresh window unit for the wireless connection capabilities. Installed the unit and guess what?! The Wireless connection doesn't work. I contacted Toshiba and they were absolutely no assist. please fix this apk!!! Toshiba this is false advertising if your product doesn't work like you say it does.

  Thomas Moody: I have never been able to receive this to work. Toshiba says network is down, that is a lie. Instead of 30 minute of problem shooting I think they would have led with that. This stops at reconnecting smartphone to wireless connection and the fails every time. Modernize 4/28/19 still does not work, still stops at reconnecting smartphone to wireless connection. The smartphone connects but the apk doesn't recognize that it has connected so it fails.
