The apk aims to bring you offline access (i.e. no internet connection needed) to the following: • A detailed map of the country or region you purchase. The country map roughly corresponds to a 1:1 000 000 paper map in terms of its detail and will let you to view the map at various zoom levels. The map works related to a web map with the difference being that all info is installed on your device. It includes put names like cities, towns and villages together with a detailed street and track network. It also shows you all protected places such as national parks and mini game reserves together with relevant background data such as rivers, mountains and major attractions. • A detailed tutorial with the following categories: Territories (cities, towns, etc), Attractions & Activities, Parks, Scenic, Camps, Lodging, Meal & Drink, Fuel, Shopping, Services and More (miscellaneous points of interest). The tutorial info is linked to a place on the map and will display as a pin on the map for you to know where it is in reference to where you are. The apk will display a map of the country or region and let you to switch on various categories of points of interest. You can also find for specific territories by name. The map find is place sensitive, i.e. results will be relative to the centre of the map. Your position, determined from your Android device smartphone or tablet's place service, will display on the map so you can accurately orientate yourself on the map. As you drive, your place will modernize on the map so you always know where you are. (Device with GPS needed) The find functionality is linked to the tutorial categories. For example, if you need to search a campsite, simply switch on the Camps category. Immediately all campsites around you will display on the map and you can click on them for more info. Otherwise, if you know the name of a campsite, enter it into the find block and relevant results will be filtered. What type of info can you expect? Apart from the categories already mentioned, points of interest will have associated info such as a description, contacts info, facilities and activities and some territories will have images. Have a look at the sample data in the gratis apk to receive an idea of what we offer. What about updates? The tutorials are sold according to year e.g. Namibia 2016 edition. We will provide gratis updates for one year after it has been replaced by a fresh edition. In another words, if you buy the 2016 edition, you will keep updates throughout 2016 and 2017. You can obviously continue to use your tutorial for as long as you wish, it does not expire - just like a ebook. Karin Pienaar: This apk is good! We were in Lesotho, Ongeluks pass where very few people travel even during the day! We were behind schedul as we assisted a biker that fell in Dani Pass. None of the another tutorials or maps worked, except for Tracks for Africa. A dot showed us exactly where we were travelling in the middle of somewhere and Nowhere! Thanks!!.

Danie van der Merwe: I'm awarding the points for the quality of info and places. The zoom is a bit too far out at 3km. It should certainly do with closer zoom and some improved UI. But regardless it is perfectly functional (I export the put of interest info and import the coordinates in Google Maps for the zooming) and installed ok on my Nexus 6P smartphone (download of map took on the 3rd attempt).

Emanuele La Monica: I bought the map of Namibia in 2017 for 17 eur and it was quite fine: latest descriptions, smartphone numbers, facilities of lodges/campsites were correct. At end of latest year I bought for 25 eur the map of East Africa to plan my roadtrip to Uganda. Absolutely useless and out of date. Only a few camp websites were mentioned (latest modernize 2014) Save your cash and receive other gratis offline maps apk (like Maps.me) which is up to date and full of useful info. I give 2 stars because the first map was fine.

Dennis Bartlett: Cash back please! I know you don't know what caused those crashes, and you really have no idea why the apk ate 3gb of Vodacom LTE without recording even a percent on the progress bar, or actually getting me the map I paid for. I know. The thing is, tho, that awesome company policy is to hold the customer satisfied, and to not receive a answer, not receive a map, not receive an apology or even a "we're working on it" is really awful present. So, please give me my cash back.
