  A Google user: I've been waiting for an Android device transcription apk for quite a long time, so I can transcribe on my smartphone while away from my home office. This one has most of the features of the desktop ver of the FTW Transcriber, including the automated timestamps, which saves buckets of time. Typing on it isn't as quick as on a PC, but apparently it's much faster if you receive a physical Bluetooth keyboard for your Android device device. Also, you can't do as much text formatting on it as you can in Word, though the writers have told me this is because of the limitations of Android device. (I participated in the testing for this tool before begin). Overall, this tool does what it could, and lets you transcribe anywhere.

  A Google user: I use this with a bluetooth keyboard. Works good. No issues so far. It's exactly the transcription tool apk I've been waiting for. The only thing I would wish is a keyboard command key to start/stop audio rather than always having to press on the smartphone screen for that. I should live without foot pedal use.

  A Google user: The name and description are misleading. It isn't "audio transcription tool," it is however audio playback tool that is helpful to YOU doing the transcribing. The name and defrost need to be a tiny bit clearer to avoid disappointment such as this.
