  A Google user: Due to an android device quirk, if you create your apk high priority in order to create it stay at the top of your notification listing, it's icon will stay persistent in the homescreen status bar. To create the icon disappear, select hidden notification in this apks settings. But then the volume controls are at the bottom of the list. I would pay once more if this should be worked around. Plus create it lollipop material design :) RECOMMENDED!!!!

The first Kindle Fire does not have physical volume buttons.
