The Vineyard Advisor provides suggestions for management of more than 360 issues afflicting grapes nationwide, from diseases, insects, mites, nematodes and wildlife, to environmental stress, physiological disorders and weeds. Recommendations are given for illness and pest control tactics and action thresholds, natural controls and cultural practices, organic materials, and pesticides. The most current list of all pesticides labeled for use on grapes to control a specific trouble is retrieved from the EPA label database. Complete pesticide labels are accessible in PDF format for most products. Two find options are accessible to the player: find the database for grape issues by common name, or find for pesticides labeled for use on grapes. The pesticide find can be done by product name or active ingredient. Weed management suggestions provide cultural practices and general suggestions, as well as unique considerations for difficult to control weeds, or those that have developed tolerance to herbicides. The most current list is provided of all herbicides labeled for use on grapes to control a specific weed; organized by preemergence and postemergence herbicides. Extra resources contain ratings of pesticide efficacy in controlling grape diseases, insects, weeds, and another pests; fungicide use requirements (reentry interval, pre-harvest interval); FRAC resistance class, and extra info on fungicide resistance.
