About the application:

The UD Studyversity mobile application was developed by the University of Debrecen for use by its students. The student body currently consists of 26,000 students who pursue studies at 14 faculties at this higher education institution with high academic standards. In addition to providing professional competences, the university also considers it a key priority to provide students with modern services that help all aspects of campus life. The primary ver of this application, prepared by taking the opinions of 2,500 students into consideration, has the following major functions: • Integration with the Neptun system, which allows for the displaying of courses for which the student has registered, the timetable and examinations schedule, with the latter also synchronized into the calendar of the mobile device, keeping track of the balance of the omnibus acc, and so forth. • Providing another up-to-date info closely linked with studies, including data on the programme(s) registered for, the current academic calendar, contact info for the registrar’s office, and fellowship opportunities. • An optional “mood report” function allows students to indicate their everyday and current mood. This function features a “gift box”, which can be opened in exchange for providing this info. Hidden inside may be some awesome melody, a witty quotation, or an entertaining video. After providing a certain number of mood reports, the student also receives special, university gift stuff. In addition to its major academic functions, the application may also provide another types of info in help of daily student life. Among others these contain, university news and happenings, data and info similar to persons or venues closely linked to campus life, opportunities similar to the cultural and sports life of the university and the town of Debrecen. The university has a database background that can provide appropriate, awesome quality data for this mobile application, thereby serving and satisfying needs by the fast and efficient provision of functions and services. The application is also capable of being integrated with another university info systems. The current ver of the application is considered a basic-level development. The university’s plan is to continuously expand and renew its services similar to the application, by keeping up with newly evolving communication trends, technological developments, as well as responding to the emerging needs of players, thereby further enhancing the quality of the services offered. The appearance of the application is characterised by a refined, minimalist design, as well as the official colours of the university.
