UltraTuner features one of the fastest, smoothest and most responsive tuning engines of all the tuner apks on the market. UltraTuner utilizes the entire device screen for tuning, so it is easily visible from a distance on dimly lit stages. Studio Mode In Studio mode, UltraTuner provides wave visualization that gives a qualitative feedback of the pitch deviation as a easy right/left motion of the true waveform of your instrument. A flat note will move the waveform to the left, while a sharp note will move it to the right. A note whose pitch is dead center is represented by a still waveform. Additionally, by simply tapping on the main studio display, it’s possible to switch to the pitch-tracking visualisation. The pitch tracking visualisation allows users to monitor pitch over time. This is especially useful in the studio for monitoring pitch of non-chromatic instruments like vocals, violin and brass etc., on recordings over time, and very useful for vocal and instrument pitch training. Fast calibration In the settings window, users can quickly calibrate the “A” note, set the temperament kind, set the root key for tracking and adjust the audio sensitivity. UltraTuner can use the device’s built-in microphone for audio input, and works with all analog or digital audio interfaces for Android device devices, like IK’s iRig 2, iRig HD-A, iRig STOMP, iRig Mic, iRig MIC HD-A, iRig Mic Studio, iRig Mic Cast, iRig PRE and iRig. Shmuel Joseph: The sweet part is that it is an perfect Apk. The sour part is that unfortunately it doesn't work with my Samsung Note 4. So I contacted IK and they gave me type tip but that also did not assist. If I remember right, I did not receive a re-fund.

Pappa Schlomfin: Satisfied with the apk. but not satisfied it keeps using the Mic when the apk has been closed. apk was closed running in the back ground to save memory but still pops up saying Ultratuner is using the Mic when I've not opened it...

Adicus Garton: This is a beautiful awesome tuner apk. I've only used it with the Scene Tuner mode, though. One large gripe I have is the lack of an "EXIT" button or something. The Tuner grabs keep of the microphone and doesn't allow it go, making it impossible to use Google Now or another apks that require microphone use. Please fix this. Either allow the microphone go when the apk is running in the background, or add some method to easily exit out of the apk.

A Avery: I tune pianos as well. Tried sensitivities a few times and didn't work as well as another apks. I have another IK tool, but I didn't search this useful to me. I got a refund on it. #1 is just not useful. Read all their reviews. I've tuned band instruments with scope and practiced with that. Hope to search a tool that works for me.

Darko Stefanovic: HTC One M9 - nothing works as it was advertised. It cannot even detect that E3 and A strings are resonating. I will see if I can ask for my 8$ back!!! As much as I like Amplitude, I hate this tuner. And there are so a lot of gratis tuners working much better. Actually, this one doesn't work at all. I only bought it to tune when guitar is plugged in via USB. But that is when nothing works!

James Early: I bought the apk yesterday and spent more than an hour trying to receive it to work. Nothing about it created sense and no matter what I tried, I was unable to tune my guitar using the apk. (I have iRig 2 installed on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and it works just ok.) Finally I gave up and wrote to the developer asking for a refund because the apk does not work. Their answer was they would call me back within 2 mins. This was more than 12 hours ago and they still have not contacted me in any method - not to mention they still have my cash. Buyer Beware. This is just a scam. The apk is crap and they are not a reputable company. All they seem to be interested in is taking your cash and leaving you high and dry. I would never buy anything else from IK Multimedia US, LLC.

Sage Sepulveda: Own a note 4 with HD-A and doesn't work with direct plug through usb. Could say in description before you buy it, not after you purchase it and are out $5.
