The US Federal Governments owns nearly 650 million acres of land - almost 30 percent of the land place of the United States.These are lands that are held for all Americans.Up until now, there has been no fast & simple method to retrieve the boundaries of these properties without carrying physical maps, ebooks, or slowly digging deep online.Included in this apk are on device (fully works offline), individually selectable & beautifully colourful layers for all of the properties administered by the federal government that are more than 640 acres in size:- Bureau of Land Management (BLM)- US Forest Service (FS)- National Park Service (NPS)- BLM - National Monuments- Troops Corp of Engineers (ACOE)- US Fish & Wildlife Service- Bureau of Reclamation- Tennessee Valley Authority- Department of Defense (military bases & installations)- Another (National Laboratories, Try Websites, etc...)Key Benefits & Features- Know which US agency owns and operates the land you're on or are heading to. Use the "Layers" icon to choose which agencies you wish displayed to make your own custom map. (Tip, the toggles are color coded to the color each layer is displayed in.)- Links are provided to each agency's site within the apk, so that you can further your research as to what land use guidelines apply for each public land kind - such as permits, fees, activities allowed, and limits of stay.- Map layers are stored on device - no internet connection needed.- Be sure to turn on the 'Primary' base map to see the US Public Land labels for each land place. This base map layer is also stored entirely on your device, and can be utilized if you do not have an internet connection or would like to conserve bandwidth.- If you have an internet connection, you can utilize standard and satellite view maps as well as the base layer underneath the public land overlays.- A boondocker's assistant - by turning on the Satellite view map, you can better scout out trails, streets and boondock camping places within the boundaries of the public land resources. (Please note, this is not specifically a campground locator apk - but you can combine the boundary maps with satellite imagery to scout out where there are clearings and signs of dispersed campsites. A pin is dropped at the find location.Now the US Public Land boundaries can be in your pocket!Thank you to the National Atlas of the United States for providing public domain raw map data that we’ve been able to apply our proprietary rendering technology to make an interactive overlayable mapping & navigation program. We will modernize our maps, when they modernize they theirs. Please note, the National Atlas maps only report to the nearest 640 acres (or about a square mile). This is obviously not detailed enough to be precise around borders, or for determining where personal inholdings within public lands are located. US Public Lands could only be used as an overview, and you could always confirm more precise info by consulting more detailed maps, local field offices or the sites links with in the apk. And we of course can create no guarantees as to the accuracy of the maps provided by the National Atlas.

We're avid boondockers and always searching for fresh good spots. There was a lot more guessing about where the boundaries were before we had this apk. Wendy Estelle: A must have for boondockers! My husband and I place this apk through its paces over a two week boondocking adventure this month and it passed with flying colors! We've done some boondocking in the past and for the most part enjoyed the experience. But there was always that tiny nagging doubt about whether or not we were actually on Public Lands and not personal property. This apk took away all the anxiety of not knowing for sure! The apk is simple to use and we never had any problems or glitches. I highly suggest this apk! ☆☆☆☆☆ ツ

james cobb: Not accurate. Hit or miss on accuracy, mostly off. Entire sections of personal land, labeled public. Some places are correct but one border will be off by up to a half mile. Useless when accuracy is necessary.

Dennis Keppner: Where's the beef? At 50mb there darn well better be some offline maps since the layers are easy polygons with NO associated details. Yep, NO details if you are offline. BUT If you like semi-transparent overlays to your maps with tiny to no info about them then this is a awesome apk for you. You will most likely need a supplemental apk to receive any camping info and oops, that one may need connectivity as well to receive the details. Oh, and if you use this apk for what it was intended, there is a VERY awesome possibility there won't be that connectivity. Eye candy at best and sugar gratis ie; Nothing to see here, move along. 2 stars only because it actually functions. Where's the refund queue?

I wish my cash back. I can't see anything but a white screen. Searching does nothing. Layers do nothing. Clearing the cache and apk data and restarting does nothing. This is useless. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 SM-T235Y.

Kory White: Don't waste your cash This apk is so inaccurate it will receive you in problem. The overlays present major ranches in my place as being on BLM land which are not. It also shows one of the most famous public lakes here as being on personal land which is not so. Don't count on it in any method or you may search yourself with trespassing charges. I wish my cash back

tracy schiess: Not accurate. I checked a few known places including near my home. None were accurate, not even close. State lands near me were not listed, and MY property is shown as USFS. Don't drive up my drive thinking you're going to camp! This is going to receive someone in problem. I'd expect this much of a gratis apk but one you have to pay for people expect accuracy. Refund my cash.
