About the application:

uSafeUS provides survivors, allies, family members, faculty, staff, and community members at US colleges and universities with instant access to localized info and programs for the prevention of and response to sexual assault. uSafeUS contains interactive programs to assist hold students secure in potentially risky situations. It also offers research and trauma informed info, in the form of both helpful answers and options / next steps, which help victims and their allies in the aftermath of an assault. Finally, uSafeUS provides colleges and universities with control of the local resource info students have access to, in the happening of an assault, to assist ensure incidents are properly handled. uSafeUS is an updated ver of uSafeNH, which was developed by the University of Fresh Hampshire's Prevention Innovations Research Center (PIRC). For more than a decade, PIRC has conducted research and developed programs and resources to prevent sexual violence and stalking. PIRC collaborated with a range of UNH and Fresh Hampshire state organizations in the development of uSafeNH, including the STEM Discovery Laboratory at UNH Manchester, the NH Coalition Versus Domestic and Sexual Violence, the NH SART Project, the NH Attorney General’s Office, and the NH Violence Versus Women Campus Consortium.
