  slipidgby980: This apk is brilliant for anyone wanting to know the state of their DPF and how it goes about its business. It educates you on the regeneration process and lets you see when a regeneration is taking put. You are then able to work out roughly how long you have until the next one. With it being google apk smartphone based, and using a discreet OBD bluetooth connector, theres no wires, laptops, hassle. Just boot up a easy apk on your smartphone and you have all the details you need right infront of you. At the moment I dont think there is anything at all as fast, convenient, and informative as this good tiny apk. Good help too in the community forum.

  Daniel Cussen: Works good and is ideal for checking state of DPF. I used it on a 2013 VW Golf 1598cc. I checked beforehand that the engine kind was one of the compatible types listed. I already had an ODB reader a Konnwei ODB link KW902. I first used the gratis ver of the APP to confirm it was compatible with the ODB reader and the vehicle. With the gratis apk it shows 3 values. With the paid ver all info are shown. The APP is very useful. The only downside is it does not let advanced DPF actions such as manual regeneration or restart, but this is probably not possible with this interface anyway. It did exactly what I required which was to check the DPF is working correctly, and I can use it to try for early DPF issues which are not normally indicated to the driver until it is too late. You need to go in to settings and choose you adapter kind and create sure the engine is turned on.

  Simon Henry: Brilliant apk, tells you a lot of info which is very useful in terms of how you could drive your vehicle and what the state of your DPF is. Would be nice if the log should record the filter filling rate per min as an additional column. Can the time column record date / time in HH:MM:SS and then a separate column for milliseconds? This would create it easier to make graphs with the data. Would it also be possible to configure time since latest regen into days? For example if driving 60 mins per day and the time since latest regen is 1,200 mins than this would be 20 days. I'm not sure if this is captured on the ECU however or if it is simply a duration regardless of date that the car is driven. Thanks to the developer for putting up this apk, it's excellent for a lot of peoples needs!

  David Henderson: This is essential if u have a VAG vehicle, especially if it's had the useless emissions modernize from them. This monitors ur Dpf and gives all the details you would ever need, as the VAG modernize will cause your vehicle to regen even more as well as mpg will drop, but of course VW, Audi deny this, now there is proof. No hiding now, it's a fact Audi. Use this to check what the heck VAG have done, I am personally logging all details from this apk and another tools like VCDS and will use to present Audi how awful a job they have done updating our vehicles. Works on 2013 Audi A5 sportback tdi black edition. Good job, well done, will be informing all my mates of this apk as well as Audi forum. Unhappy thing is folks Vag dealers will if your vehicle breaks down or has a fault with Egr, Dpf or low mpg on wear and tear not their modernize, but their modernize causes the egr to work more in turn clogging ur dpf which also increases fuel consumption, so yeah there are now faulty and clogging due to their useless modernize, clowns....

  Tony Jones: Every VW diesel driver could receive this apk, it will tell you about what is event to the DPF and let you to prolong its life. The apk shows you input and output gas temperatures and Soot Load, if you receive the DPF light on the dash you can see if you are getting the DPF hot enough to regenerate, how the regeneration is progressing and adjust speed and revs to optimise regeneration speed. I use it with a cheap Bluetooth OBD adapter and it works ok on my Android device 6 smartphone. You can check the comms with the gratis ver but the full ver is what you need to monitor the DPF properly.
