  J.F McGee: Sometimes, you just don't care I thoroughly have fun reading reviews that say "all 5 begin reviews are CTA employees", as it brings us all back to the days of the cold fight and accusations of being a card carrying communist. Needless to say, the apk functions as expected, with and without an internet connection. Split fare payments are possible when purchasing passes, and data usage is unexpectedly light. Awesome job, CTA, in picking a contractor that is taking their job seriously.

  Joo Kim: The apk was nice to use at first. However, after I resetted my smartphone and reinstalled the apk, the tickets I had purchased was missing from my acc with no method to retrieve it. I've tried calling them, but no reply either. Edit: The developer contacted me and helped me resolve the problem. Customer service was good overall, and the apk is still good to use!

  Frederick Cloud: I was a bit leery about using this apk to replace purchasing my monthly ticket the old fashioned method. My initial experience with Ventra when the town started using them for CTA fares was not pleasant. But that was a while ago, and the idea of not having to stand in line every month to purchase a ticket won me over. And after a few days, I must say that I don't have any regrets. I always have my smartphone with me, and now instead of having to dig through my bag I can simply begin the apk, go into my Metra ticket tab, tap the ticket and present it to the conductor. The ticket animation is beautiful slick, nice method to validate that it's actually a ticket and not a film playing. Taping the ticket makes it change color, which once more aids in validation. A couple of times the conductors weren't sure if it was a monthly pass (it doesn't say monthly), so I had to exit the ticket and present him the date range for the ticket, so maybe having "monthly" on the ticket should assist with that. Or just further experience/education with the conductors (they said mine was the first monthly pass they'd seen). Very awesome apk. Question: Is the credit card info stored locally or in the cloud?
