About the application:

Use your voice to create things slide into Voxpix. You can lure lions, vehicles and carrots into the screen. Say “baaa” or “meee” and a cow or an ape lands in a green landscape. With Voxpix you control what happens with your voice instead of your fingers. Voxpix is developed for kids with cochlear implant, speech impairments and kids who need to practice their voice. But all kids who wish to play with their voice can have fun with Voxpix. Voxpix is an apk for tablets created for voice training. The apk has a microphone that hears sound.The kid makes a sound and things like dogs or ebooks appear on the screen. The connection between cause and result can motivate kids to create sounds. It is up to you as a therapist or parent to select what sounds you wish to practice: true words, nonsense words or speech sounds. Maybe the kid can create any type of sounds in a gratis play? The mini game has two difficulty levels. - Who can practice - ● Kids with cochlear implant ● Kids with speech impairments ● Therapists and pre-school teachers who need a program in their profession ● Parents who wish to practice together with their kids - How to practice - ● Select an environment that is as quiet as possible and place the device in front of you preferably on a table for the best effect. ● Press the microphone photo in the top right corner to turn the mike on. The mike turns green. Check where the true mike is on the device and create sure you don't cover it with your hand. ● Say something, like "beee" or "maaa", and an item slides in. Prepare in advance what type of sounds you wish to practice: true words, nonsense words or speech sounds. If "p" isn't working, test "paaa". ● Press the microphone each time you create sounds. If you wish to give the kid an instruction while the mike is on, just turn it off temporarily, by pressing the photo of the mike. ● The exercise is finished when the lamb starts celebrating. Then you can either press the play button in the top left corner to begin the next exercise or you can play with the stuff on the screen, just drag and drop with your finger. - Voxpix is childproof - The apk Voxpix has no advertising and no in-app purchases. There are parental locks to settings and assist. Links to the web has parental locks. Voxpix does not: ● Shop sound files ● Transmit data about the player ● Require players to share private info ● Ask for date of birth ● Collect, transmit, or have the capability to share private info - Voxpix is created for tablets - Voxpix is made to work on tablets, i. e. devices with screens larger than ordinary smart phones. The apk can be downloaded to devices with screens larger than 640dp x 480dp (4 x 3 tum, 10,16 x 7,62 cm).
