"Mystery Dungeon" style roguelike RPG! Quirky and fun but very challenging. Yes, it's hard. But you're not scared of a hard video mini game, right? Use magic stuff, morph into creatures, search mates to war alongside you! Use keen tactic rather than grinding for levels and you'll clear the dungeon! NOTE: Currently seems to be a glitch on latest Samsung devices (Note 5, Galaxy S6, S7, etc.). A workaround is to install the gratis Samsung Mini game Tuner apk from Google play, set the mode to Custom and adjust the Resolution Ratio for Voyage to Farland to 100%. NEW: on little screen devices you can now choose controls with the DPAD at bottom left. What’s a roguelike RPG and how does it play? It’s a classic video mini game style and here are a couple of strategies... Strategy A) - attack everything in sight head-on. Effect: your hero will die quickly and often. Strategy B) - learn about the powers of the stuff you search. For example, search a cursed “Empty Vial”, throw it at a "Ghost" to capture its soul. Then later drink the vial, become a Ghost and float through walls to escape danger. Or grab a “Levelup Bead”, wave it at a friendly hero - he’ll level up and assist you war, or drop it on the ground, allow a "Catapult" creature pick it up & toss it at you - you’ll level up and be able to pound creatures into the ground. But ouch! The "Nosferatu" creatures are too strong!?! (Nosferatu is a kind of vampire, Google it), yet they’re undead and undead creatures are vulnerable to medicinal herbs, like that "Wormwood" you just picked up! In short, roguelike mini games offer a rich experience for gamers seeking something beyond casual games. Notes: save your mini game at any point, but Voyage to Farland uses hardcore Rogue guidelines (death=start over no stuff). Think of it as "tough love". 5 themed dungeons, 39 creature types with devious attacks, over 30 stuff and 4 NPCs you can recruit to assist you fight! Hints: test the training dungeon first, equip a shield as soon as possible, create awesome use of the herbs/beads/scroll's secret powers (tap INV, then choose Explain from the item's sub menu - use the DPAD or swipe up/down in the center of the touchscreen to scroll in menus). Search an empty vial, use it to capture & morph into a creature to really throw down and you'll be hooked. This mini game demands a more intelligent approach. Until you search a shield you'll have to pick your wars wisely. Voyage has been on the shop for over two years and yet only two users have cleared every dungeon (shout-out to Paul and Rodney!). Alexander Newell: Beware, mini game is not for the faint of heart. It is a classic Roguelike in terms of challenge, which means you will die a lot. There are lots of tricks to learn though that create the mini game easier, but fun and rewarding. Potential buyers with note 5 and s6 samsung phones, there is a fairly really big graphical glitch rendering the mini game unplayable. Will modernize review when/if the problem is fixed with future updates. Developer has been unbelievable in his response to my problem earlier, good service and passionate.

A Google user: Good mini game in serious need of a professional artist. Some sprites have solid colors, others are a mess of ugly gradients and blurs (the Tinbots, for example.) Also some places have a grid (which I actually prefer for this sort of mini game) and another places do not. The starting village also has a horrible layout which you will loathe navigating, despite its little size. My smartphone allows multi touch but the multi touch controls don't work (thankfully there's a second button layout.) Finally the "miss" and "level-up" sounds seem more like put holders than final sounds. I hope we see improvement, the video test is 5-star!

A Google user: The reviews for this were good so gave it a go. The control stick being at the top of the screen place me off very quickly. Very awful layout design. Means your thumb goes over the screen to move around. Seriously hindering the viewing place. Created the mini game unplayable for me.

Brian Caasi: Easily one of the best roguelike's on the Android device shop! Edit: Latest modernize added a method more comfortable control scheme, with the D-pad in the lower left corner, and the dash in the lower right corner. Plus the fresh content.

A Google user: This is a really cool mini game, related to one of my favorite mini games ever, Shiren the Wanderer. But as another people have already said, the button layout and graphics need changing. Large time. The control pad could be on the bottom left, not the top left. The buttons on the bottom right are stretched out of the correct aspect ratio and look weird. Some of the graphics are really blurry. Basically, with a complete interface overhaul and cleaner graphics it would probably be my favorite mini game for Android device.
