Transform your Wear OS watch into a smart alarm clock that lets you wake up well. Wake up alert and in the right mood! Can’t remember the latest time you woke up new and energised? Are you stuck in an endless cycle of sleeping through or ignoring your alarm clock? Based on maximising the science of sleep, Wake Up Well has been designed to wake you up at the optimal time. Unlike the traditional alarm clock, which works to wake you up at a specific time, Wake Up Well wakes you up gently with vibrations at the optimal time – when you’re rested, relaxed and in REM or Rapid Eye Movement sleep. What is REM? REM Sleep was identified by sleep researchers as a phase in sleep in which a person sleeps lightly. It occurs throughout different times during sleep; one of the latest instances it occurs is close to morning. It is said that during REM, the brain activity behaves related to the brain activity during hours you are awake. How it works Wake Up Well detects the optimal time to wake you up. When using alarm clocks, most people’s bodies are not yet prepared or still in deep sleep. Message that when you wake via your alarm clock’s command you’re often groggy, have a cloudy mind and lacking in energy? That’s because your body is still in deep sleep. With Wake Up Well, you’re gently awoken during REM – when your brain is more active and your body is naturally ‘waking up’. Wake Up Well detects your slight movements during REM and in the ‘wake up window’ you set. It is during this time Wake Up Well monitors when to wake you up. Touch "Fresh alarm", then scroll to the time you need to wake up. This is the recent time the alarm will go off. Swipe to the right for options. The wake up window will determine the earliest time the alarm will wake you up - based on your sleep pattern. After setting your wake up window swipe to the right once more and touch the days you wish the same alarm to repeat. If you wish just a single use alarm do not touch any days. Once you have finished setting your alarm, swipe left to return to the original screen and swipe once more to keep a confirmation window. Use the ‘Wake Up Well’ Complication on fresh Watch Faces to present the next alarm time.

The design of the apk is excellent for the limited interface offered by a watch face, and the host of features (now including sensitivity!) is exactly what I need! I've been using it for the past few months now without complaint! Perfect job by this dev. REVIEW FOR AN OLDER VERSION: Good apk. Really like how it’s localized on the watch and works reliably. Two reasons I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars and not going bonus - 1) This apk definitely needs a sensitivity setting to compensate for various watches. On my Fossil Gen 5, it alarms within 5 mins of the window without fail, method too sensitive. 2) I’d like to be able to view the data somehow - emails or something. Because of 1) I won’t continue using the apk, thanks for the trial though. I thought that not including recurring alarms was a reasonable move for the gratis ver. I’d definitely help this apk if the sensitivity setting is implemented. That being said, it’s the only reliable apk of its type on the Play Shop at the moment, so I’d love to see that feature added!

A Google user: I used to use the Jawbone UP24 and one of the things I loved was the alarm clock. It monitored your sleep and woke you when you were in a light sleep against a deep sleep; inside a certain window of time from your selected wake up time. When I got my fresh Moto 360 that was something I missed most. While the stock alarm is fair - it is not awesome and glitches quite often. This apk is the reply. A Google user: The largest trouble with the stock apk, and the reason I got this one, is the fact that the stock apk is too simple to dismiss (you sleepily cup your hand over the watch face, the alarm is turned off, and you go back to sleep). It's not so simple to dismiss this alarm. I wake up feeling more refreshed and it doesn't wake my wife up. Good job!

Sarah Oboda: I have the Fossil Gen 5 Carlyle HR watch. Using the default settings, the apk requires significant movement to trigger the alarm. Thankfully the dev replied to my review w/ instructions on adjusting sensitivity since this ability wasn't intuitive. I changed it to the highest sensitivity (+4) and it worked ok. It's simple to set an alarm nightly. I keep watch reminders to set an alarm. If you search this inconvenient, pay a few bucks to help the dev's work and receive recurring alarms.

A Google user: If I set up an alarm for 8:00 AM with a 30 min window, alarm will go off between 7:30 and 8:00 by detecting REM? So alarm can go off 7:30 on monday and 7:40 on tuesday by my body movement? If apk cannot detect the REM, 8:00 is the recent time to alarm go off. Optimal time you said are these 7:30, 7:40? Am I right??

A Google user: Did not work at all on my Moto 360 1st Gen. First, setting the alarm was difficult, I had to exit the apk and reopen it to even receive the confirmation. Then, after stumbling across that solution, the alarm wouldn't present in my smartphone, and the apk refused to begin, and would uninstall itself from my watch!

A Google user: It works good. I'm getting much better rest with this apk and I couldn't be happier. It brings whole fresh functionality to Wear. Well worth the bonus fee just to be able to help a good dev, the developer LISTENS. And the bonus features are worth it.... Would like an option to tag/name certain alarms so I know which week I could turn it on for. Possibly in smartphone apk since it's hard to write on Wear.

My partner and I like the fact that it vibrates on my wrist, and not an annoying alarm clock, as she works odd hours. Only downside is, I'm used to charging my watch when I sleep, why only 4 stars. I did donate the $1.03 so they can improve it! I think it has good potential.

A Google user: Just bought the bonus ver. Only used one night and it seemed very well designed and intuitive (swipe one method for snooze and the another for cancel). I had used Sleep as Android device before just for the smart watch integration but it has a horrible interface and seems like method too much overkill and it sucked the battery like crazy. My only true recommendation, have an option for a larger font current time that is shown when the alarm is going off. It's a bit little for sleepy / blurry eyes in the morning.

A Google user: It's good and well worth the cost to receive the pro ver. The only possible improvement is to let you to set the alarms on your smartphone. At the moment, the alarm can only be set up on the watch. I would prefer to set the alarms up on my smartphone, as it has a larger interface.

A Google user: Hey I like the apk works well. A recommendation would be to have a low, medium and high sensitivity setting for the accelerometer. The reason is because I am noticing a wide difference between various wear watches. My Huawei watch is much more sensitive them my fossil watch and it would be nice if i should have a setting to receive the same results from both.
