Use your everyday walking/running distance recorded from the Google Fit apk towards the Appalachian Trail. See another players completing the same route, and don't allow them pass you! WalkTheDistance uses your walking/running distance (everyday steps) tracked automatically in the Google Fit apk and puts that data to awesome use, by showing you how far you would be if you were walking the Appalachian Trail, Boston Marathon, or another featured routes in cities and national parks around the globe. The Appalachian Trail is really long. So we added checkpoints along the method to assist you stay motivated. For the Appalachian trail, checkpoints are shelters where you can "stay the night", along with some points that provide a awesome view. Checkpoints vary by walk, and of course you cannot unblock checkpoints until you reach them! Walk with another players! Walk with everyone, or just walk with your mates. You can easily add mates to walk with you on your walk. Receive notified when someone passes you. Stay motivated and don't allow them beat you! This apk is "activate it and leave it". It uses virtually no power while in the background. It pulls your walking/running distance from the Google Fit apk once every hour in the background, or every time you begin the apk. When you reach checkpoints or receive passed by mates, you will receive notifications on your smartphone letting you know. Free walks in each category (Appalachian Trail, Marathons, Cities, National Parks), then another walks are accessible for purchase for $0.99 (or equivalent local currency). Feedback welcome! Valerie Cook: Excellant customer service is hard to search these days but this apk provides the best customer service I have ever had before and I'm 46 yrs old. I highly suggest it to anyone wanting to begin a walking challenge with family and mates. You can do 306 miles gratis or pay for extra trails. It really is an good apk.

Jim Graham: Really enjoying this! Want it should track or sync with Garmin Connect for more accuracy/better results. Takes too long to use multiple apks to be able to use it. Modernize: Still loving this apk and now even more! Updated to 5 stars! Sasha Titus: Just fine. Looking for an apk to assist motivate me & thought this might work. It's just not syncing up with my steps however. And I'm not talking the variation you expect with pedometers. I'm talking 1500 steps it hasn't registered today that present on my usual tracker, even when I forced it to modernize. Frustration is definitely not motivating.
