  Ural Ozturk: It is an innovative idea to have a chess mini game where you can visually see people cutting each another in half. Decent classic mini game but how did you guys forget to implement "En Passant". As for the regicide mode, it's not that good, but the classic mode more than makes up for it.

  The POZ: Very Cool My only Gripe is when the Queen Chess piece takes a hero, it's done from a distance and not close up animations like the rest. Finding that this also happens with the Rook and Bishop. Apart from that I love this mini game more for the chess side of things as well as the death animations. The fresh modernize also stopped the choppy and sluggish animations. Now it runs and looks good! Love that you can play offline. Would like to see more hero skins, Especially considering the price of the mini game.

  Michael Vatskalis: Some minor flaws, but overall quite an enjoyable experience. As the title of the review states, this mini game has some minor flaws, however none of them rise above being an annoyance. Aside from some minor quibbles RE: opponent AI sometimes moving to places where they can be captured easily, this mini game is honestly a 5 star experience. I came across no bugs, crashes, or slowdowns during play and was hooked from the moment I understood what was being asked of me. The mechanics they've introduced are well thought out and enjoyable, and I would like to see these guys continue

  Paul Woolcock: Awesomely fun Chess spin-off borrowing elements of modern turn based tactic mini games (such as Characters of Might and Magic and Final Fantasy Strategies). Basically it's violent, Warhammer40k themed Chess with added terrain, varied crew configurations and a cool initiative round, during which the user can utilise different offensive and defensive abilities. This added dynamic makes for quicker, more offensively driven matches. The mini game generally looks and plays awesomely too and considering the price, this is the best value purchase I've created in a long time :)
