About the application:

The Water Quality apk may be used for education or scientific research purposes. Players of all ages can learn about water quality parameters such as Dissolved Oxygen, E. coli, pH, Nutrients, Turbidity and much more. Students can gather data about their field study website in a website profile. The Benthic Macroinvertebrates section acts as a field tutorial of all of the major taxa used to calculate pollution tolerance indexes. Pictures, sketches and descriptions for identification are included for twenty-two macroinvertebrates. Scientists and citizen science groups can use the Water Quality apk to learn about water quality parameters and to collect chemical and biological data from their study websites. Data are organized in reports and can be printed or submitted to the River on the Web database.
