  Jessica Rook: I am finding it difficult to use the stereo pan option, although the track is shown at the top in the preview, there isn't a correlating bar that travels through the sound wave below to present at which point you are transitioning from left to right headphone/speaker. The bar at the top that moves through the melody doesn't have any point relation to the sound waves below, so I don't know where to edit. Please fix!!!

  A Google user: I would like help for more file types (like high-quality mp3's (320kbps and 256kbps)), as well as the notorious m4a's, and FLAC files would be nice as well. The editing seems to be smooth and well-functioning.

  Michael Logue: Just paid for the apk. I got this so I should edit high quality mp3's on my smartphone. You only offer 128 kps. A 256 and 320kps option would be nice. I would give you a higher rating and better review for this addition.

  Michel Brebsom: I mostly do trimming and normalising on my recordings, which works as it could. I tried compressing and equalising but the method they are implemented makes them unusable for serious editing. WavePad generates a preview each time a change is created to the result. This preview generation takes quite a while, nearly 25 seconds on my Galaxy Tab S for a 3 mins recording - so imagine on tablets with less powerfull processors! I would still agree this if WP would offer the chance to easily compare the effect of the preview to the original recording. But no, it's all trial and error. WP doesn't let to read files from SD card. This should lead to storage issues because WP creates a working copy in its own dedicated folder thus duplicating the amount of storage place used for each file. WP allows to save recordings as MP3, but why only in 64kbps and 128kbps quality? My verdict: although WavePad is packed with interesting features, the method they are implemented makes them mostly useless for serious sound file editing. That makes its price mark method too high! The gratis ver would have been ok for me if it hadn't a limitation in using effects.

  Brian Haskins: I attempted to slow down the ver of a song I had played and recorded so I should check for mistakes in my playing. But this apk simply saved the original that I had loaded...not the slowed down ver. In addition, if saving files in MP3 format I cannot save higher than 128kbps.

  Tomthe Lampist: Apparently not much more here than is included w the gratis ver. This apk is not gonna allow you mix tracks or slow speech down or add wacky effects. I tinkered with this for hours and found countless options for balancing volumes within a sound bite but no method to layer or "compare" sounds. I'm no studio engineer but I felt type of limited in what i should do with this.

  Lubica Brown: I would love to give a higher rating. However, this is false advertising. On the Android device apk, there is no editing menu. You can only record and send the recordings. It looks nothing like the pictures. I'm sure it is good on a CPU, but I wanted to have a tool that allows me to edit on my smartphone. As of right now, this one doesn't. Please add the editing menu to the Android device ver and I will give a higher rating.

  Frankie Reid: Hi, i have just paid for this ver of wave pad for my laptop but it says it will be downloaded soon, but i have been waiting for about half an hour and nothing has happened? i don't know whats going on. I would appreciate an explanation as i don't see why this is not working but i have paid and it says that i have "installed" the apk but when i click on that it says it will be downloaded shortly. thanks Frankie xx

Siracuse: had this apk forever ...no longer works cant even upload files or anything. hasnt had an modernize since 2016 . also , when using the noise reduction features it leaves a horrible digitized sounds in it's wake that is probably worse than the noise you removed ever was. can we receive an modernize sometime this decade?.....edit*** i have contacted help a few times and was told an modernize would be released....sometime....no time frame ...no patch....no work around ..nothing.
