Welcome to the Official Site of Wayne County Indiana 2nd Amendment Sanctuary. If you are here for more info about 2A Sanctuary then your in the right spot. In a nutshell your constitutionally protected right to bear arms is being attacked from the state and federal government. State and federal politicians are pushing bills to limit, tax, regulate & confiscate your arms and ammunition. In Virginia state lawmakers have passed almost a dozen laws to criminalize law abiding citizens. On January 20th 20,000 armed law abiding citizens cast a shadow on the state capital. Did the politicians listen to the people they swore an oath too. NO they didnt! Six fresh gun laws passed the following week. Would this happen in Indiana? Absolutely! Three bills were submitted to Indiana state committees for review. We were lucky that these bills were "killed" in committee early by Pro 2A republican lawmakers. An Ordinance has been drafted and submitted to Wayne County Commissioners to shield you from these unconstitutional gun laws. After a week of review by the town Lawyer; a decision has been created by commissioners not to advance this Ordinance. Commissioners stated that this ordinance should possibly begin the county to liability. This decision is currently being reviewed by legal counsel to present reason that this decision is in error.
