WCU SAFE is the official security apk of West Chester University. It is the only apk that integrates with WCU's security and safety systems. The Department of Public Security has worked to develop a special apk that provides students, faculty and staff with added security on the WCU campus. The apk will send you necessary security alerts and provide instant access to campus security resources. WCU SAFE features contain: - Emergency Contacts: Contact the correct services for the WCU place in case of an emergency or a non-emergency concern. - Virtual WalkHome: Let Campus Safety to monitor a user’s walk. If a player feels unsafe when walking on campus, they can request a Virtual WalkHome and a dispatcher on the another end will monitor their adventure until they reach their destination. - Public Security Escort: This walking escort service is provided to students, faculty, and staff from one on-campus place to other. - Mate Walk: Send your place to a mate through email or SMS on your device. Once the mate accepts the Mate Walk request, the player picks their destination and their mate tracks their place in true time; they can hold an eye on them to create sure they create it safely to their destination. - Emergency Plans: Campus emergency documentation that can prepare you for disasters or emergencies. This can be accessed even when players aren’t connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data. - Panic Button / Mobile Bluelight: Send your place to WCU safety in real-time in case of a crisis. - Help Resources: Access help resources in one convenient apk to have fun a successful experience at WCU. - Security Notifications: Keep instant notifications and instructions from WCU security when on-campus emergencies occur.
