Whack A Note is a Musical Note Reading Mini game inspired by the classic "whack a mole" mini game but with a twist. Choose between 3 clefs (Treble, Bass, Alto) to try your note reading skills. Heres how this melody gane works...The mini game starts with a random note being displayed (A-G in 2 octaves). A melody card (note on staff) will start to pop up from their holes at random. The object of the mini game is to match the correct notes by tapping on the note card before it disappear in the hole. You have 3 lives, so select wisely. Once 20 matches are found, you proceed to the next level. There are a total of 14 levels. Play the mini game, work at your own pace. Whack A Note is a fun method to practice and improve your knowledge of melody notation. This apk was developed with Adobe Flash. A gratis download of Adobe Air is needed.

Philip-Jennifer Shambaugh: Good mini game but... This mini game is really good for my piano students, however, it would be nice if the notes around middle C came up more often. It's mostly the higher and lower notes on the staff in the treble and bass clef. I would give this a 5 star rating if there was a method to hand pick (before starting a fresh mini game) what notes came up during a mini game so that my beginners should work on easy note reading around middle C. Please create this possible!

Claire Bonney: Appears awesome but This apk is awesome fun as I'm undertaking grade 1 theory so it is useful for note recognition. However in order to stop playing it I have to go into settings and 'force stop' as so far I haven't found an exit button.
