  Tony Perez: Seriously, developer deserves major kudos here. For less than 1/100 the cost of the cheapest hardware timegrapher, you're getting a capable, tweakable timing machine that absolutely nails the rates of most any mech watch you can throw at it. I've timed a few Seikos, some Chinese "mall watch" throwaways, and a few Swiss ETA's with this apk, and it works like a charm. Needs some tweaking, and yes, the ability to read will come in handy. But for what you receive, this apk is a steal at 10x the price.

  Michael Kirk: I bought this apk to regulate some clocks. Be sure to read the guide and configure the apk properly before you use it. Once you've done that, the learning curve is not steep. My clocks hold perfect time now and setting them was quick compared to the old trail and error way. Another apks geared toward setting clocks cost around $5 so WildSpectra is a steal at 99¢. It's also the only apk of those I tried that should properly distinguish my Seth Thomas's balance wheel ticking (and automatically at that).

  Tony Moriarty: I didn't really need this apk - it was more to do with curiosity, to see if I should improve the regulation of the few mechanical watches I have. I saw awesome write-ups on a couple of websites, and, realistically, at a fraction of the cost of a pint of beer, it was worth a go. Downloaded and installed it this morning, on my ZTE Blade Q-mini (beautiful much the bottom of the heap, as smart phones go), worked through the guide video a bit at a time, and it worked a treat. (You really do, however, need a quiet spot to work with it!) Two watches done (wrist-watches, not pocket watches) - theoretically improved from gaining 2 to 3 mins a day to within a few seconds - we'll see how they perform on my wrist in due time. Irrespective of how well I've set up the watches, the tool is perfect - a lot of thanks, Keith - splendid job!

  Nick Scott: Impressive apk. Place it on my Kobo Arc 7HD smartphone and its ok. Spent the 63p and timed a watch to be within 5sec a day which it remains after 1 week. If it had a menu tab at the top of the screen would of worked on my Samsung tab S too.

  John Hill: This Apk is brilliant. Had to play around with the settings to receive it to work correctly, but that was part of the fun. Altering the frequency settings was the main factor in getting the apk to work on my devices(Samsung Galaxy Tab/Samsung Galaxy S3, Did not use external mic) Some settings won't save but its no large deal to restart them. Thank you.

  Larry J Beach: As the developer says, smartphone microphones pick up a lot of background noise, and the Samsung Tab A is no exception. I am unable to receive the beat counter to stabilize on my smartphone, but if I measure 2 mins worth of ticks and have "Tag axes" checked, I can manually read the calibration. I only want that the save PNG would also save the time scale. A time axis to frequency transform would be really cool! If I had the programing skills and the time, I'd have written one long ago. Modernize: I got it to work. In his video, he has the integrated spectra shown. The video is really helpful to watch. Also, placing the watch and smartphone on a pillow to assist dampen external noises helps a lot.

  Nick O'Connor: Exactly what I was looking for! FFT beat detection works very well for calibrating mechanical watches, showing you the seconds/day deviance based on the detected balance wheel cycle rate. The UI isn't the best, however the concept is brilliant and it returns accurate results.

  Cj Huang: Purchased this apk to regulate my watch. I was frustrated originally because I couldn't receive it working. After almost a day of surfing the web and studying the guide and trying all things possible finally using an external earphone/mic and turning the volume to the max finally I can receive a clear signal. To any frustrated players out there, if you begin the apk, record for 10 s, play it back and hear nothing, stop there and fix this problem first. You can test using an external earphone/mic and stick the mic next to the clock. For me, that's how it begin working. The built-in mic in my Google Nexus 10 simply can't pick up the sound clean enough. I've tried a few earphone/mic, and Bose MIE2i pick up the sound most clearly. My another cheap Philip earphone also works but the one come with iPhone doesn't work, don't know why. A few recommendation though:(1)Since I am mainly using the beat counting portion on my 10 inch smartphone, I think there is plenty of room to place button in there to adjust the gain, threshold, and timing. The tapping the left or right part screen isn't clear to me. (2) Fix the beat counting max scale and not jumping from 2m to 30s to 1m etc. Overall, thanks Keith.

  Daniel Ottolini: This tool has a bit of a learning curve at the beginning. It is not difficult to learn, you just have to take the time to read and understand the guides. My first time using the tool to adjust an automatic watch and I was able to receive my Invicta 8926OC to within 2 seconds slow a day from 15 seconds slow when I started. It took about 20 attempts and about an hour to receive it to where I was happy, without this good tool the whole process would have taken weeks.

  Jim Hagerman: I am having a lot of of my antique watches repaired including a few pocket watches between 100 and 250 years old. The watchmaker here in Germany does not have the proper old equipment like my father had, a Vibrograf B200. The fresh equipment he has does not do the timing correctly, it obviously has an aliasing trouble. My 100 year old pocket watch recently cleaned and repaired is loosing over 22 mins every 12 hours. This application shows the watch loosing 45 mins a day! This application can search the correct timing error and fresh expensive digital watch timing equipment no longer work for antique watches. Good application.

The apk does have a bit of a learning curve but the guide is very helpful and the creator has a video that shows how to use the apk. Place the time and effort in learning how to use and customize it and it'll work nicely.

  A Google user: It's not Mad Birds! I bought the pro ver solely to assist with easy watch regulation. Yes, you have to read the whole manual possibly a few times to really tease out the sections that apply to your goals. I configured it step by step just as suggested in the on board documentation and found the UI perfectly suited to the task. No more waiting days and hoping I got the click just right on an ETA 2824-2 or fiddling with the crazy adjustment lever on a Seiko 6r15. Thanks so much to the developer for his work.

  Donald Henderson: After a lot of tinkering with the settings, it works fine for checking my pocket and wrist watches on my Nexus 7. However, it does not remember target beat rates and defaults back to auto/1s every time. I also had to reduce the frame rate to 15 to create it work right. It also defaults back to the 2 min recording time.

  Waktosha 73: Awesome apk. If you can't search the menu button, test long pressing you square or windows tab. Watch the guide multiple times. You will need to. Once you figure it out it's not a awful apk. It would be given 5 stars if it were a tiny easier to use and not so time consuming to regulate your watch. If you have the time after you know how to use this apk than it may work for you. It's not excellent and even after spending a good deal of time your watch may not be quite where you wish it, but it will be better.

  Rick J: If visualisation of the true time signal is what you are after, then this might be the right apk for you. Unfortunately, I was after application, that would let me to check accuracy of s/h watches, prior to purchase, so that I don't have to lug with me Timegrapher, everywhere I go. For that, this apk is not suitable. At least not with the Samsung S7 Edge.

  Jonathan Haller: Good apk, VERY 'professional' layout (the type you need a manual for) and a boatload of configurable options. The value in this apk is unbelievable. I love configurable options. Unfortunately my smartphone doesn't have a dedicated menu key, like most Android device devices manufactured since like 2008 so getting to the options menu will be impossible for most players that don't have on-screen nav buttons (Samsung, I'm looking at you.) since there is no on-screen hamburger icon.
