Magician Warfare is a fantasy-themed 4X-style turn-based tactic mini game with a strategic empire management layer supported by a detailed tactical war simulation layer. It is a mini game of exploration, conquest and magic. The focus is a 'retro' graphical style coupled with deep, complex video test mechanics and massive use of random/procedural generation to ensure extensive replayability. The goal of Magician Warfare is to conquer all opposing opponent Wizards. Each Magician must settle and grow cities, build armies, hire spellcasters, research spells and wage fight until only one Magician remains standing! Wizard Warfare consists of a strategic level (the Globe Map) and a tactical level (the War Map). Exploration, expansion, production, research and town management all happen on the Globe Map, while wars are simulated on the War Map. Wizard Warfare focuses extensively on replayability. Maps are generated randomly from a dozens of settings, although if you search a random map you like, it can easily be regenerated from the same initial settings and random 'seed' for use in future games. With 3 distinct magical schools, 5 distinct magical paths and over 200 fantasy-themed troops, from little insects to heavy fire-breathing dragons, a large dozens of strategic and tactical options are accessible. Playing as a Holy mage will be a very various experience to playing as a Death mage! The globe of Magician Warfare is hostile, with opponent Wizards, neutral cities and rampaging creatures beyond your borders. Wizards begin weak, with only a single town, a little military force, a few scouts and very tiny research. Selecting priorities wisely is essential. Focusing on exploration can yield crucial info about opponents' strengths and weaknesses, and give early warning of attacks or reveal lucrative creature lairs to capture. Focusing on magic and research leads to more strong magical spells which can overwhelm your opponents. Focusing on economic expansion can lead to large empires supporting heavy armies in the late mini game. Focusing on early military expansion can catch opponents by surprise if their attention is elsewhere, but be attentive not to overextend! No single tactic is guaranteed to victory every time. It is not important to view every single war to victory a mini game of Magician Warfare. However, understanding how your army perform in various war situations, along with their strengths and weaknesses versus a dozens of opponents will give you a significant advantage!
