About the application:

What is a word family? Word families are groups of words that have a common feature or pattern. For example, the words at, cat, hat, sat, and mat all end with “at”. With over 450 words, Word Family Recognition is a good method for your kid to learn word families. They can play in three modes: Family – Your kid can search words by the word family they end with. They will be given 4 words and asked to pick the correct one based on the word family it ends with. Example: dog, cat, tap, unhappy. Search the word that ends with "at". Words – Your kid can search search the correct word from four words in the same word family. Example: cat, sat, mat, rat. Search "cat". Practice - This mode is good for a kid just beginning to learn about word families. They can practice either Family or Words and pick which list (A, E, I, O, U) they would like to learn. If they pick the wrong reply it will assist them learn the correct one.
