About the application:

Ever wondered how your brain works? Well, so do we. You teach us By helping us paint worms (and competing for wurm titles!), you're teaching us about the brain and behavior of a very little worm. This little critter, C. elegans, has a lot of related genes to humans, which means that by learning about the worm's brain, we can learn about our own brains as well. Mini game play Compete to be top of the leaderboard while earning achievements towards your Master of All Wurms degree! We'll present you photos of worms, and all you need to do is draw your best guess of where the center of the worm is. A lot of of the photos you'll see include worms whose body is crossing or blocking itself (imagine worm yoga!). The centerlines of these postures are difficult to identify computationally, but we humans can guess easily.
