Your smartphone gets the ability to summon and trap yōkai - numerous spirits that have been living hidden among us (until now). Admire them and give them witty nicknames and then place them in the brutal ever-changing dungeon to test and summon even more yōkai! Spooky beautiful graphics and powders created from different body parts included. Features: - Traditional roguelike with touch controls in mind - Spooky beautiful pixel-art graphics - Large dozens of playable heroes - Fancy "ō" letter that destroys our SEO (Yodanji and yokai, anyone?) * Comparing with another KEMCO RPGs, Yōdanji has a much steeper learning curve and is more difficult in general. Don't be deterred, though! "The greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it", or so they say. And if you are unfamiliar with roguelikes, getting awesome in Yōdanji can begin up a whole fresh globe of games! Emrys Howe: I don't usually create the effort to write reviews but I feel compelled to present my help for this tiny gem. This is your typical simple to learn difficult to master kind mini game, a furiously difficult roguelike with more soul than is usual for this genre. Well worth the price!

Jude Durens: Edit: anyways, all my progress suddenly disappeared. It happened when I turned on my smartphone. Was it because because my smartphone was still loading the data of apks? It's type of a shame, really. I already got all yokai and just doing the endless dungeon for top scores..

Matthew Velez: I've been waiting for a Mystery Dungeon kind mini game and this one fits the bill. Insanely difficult but so satisfying. I also love the folklore; a really nice touch!

Jesse Gray: Tough video test and beautiful and interesting art.

Joshua Niday: A classic roguelike with awesome additions to mix things up. The setting is a large plus, it sets it apart from another roguelikes on Android device. I like the fact that each hero has their own skill set, it makes them feel distinct. The graphics are nice and the melody is enjoyable, and I really like the extra art and lore for each hero. Well worth the price.

Jv9: Heroes are kawaii (yea I said it lol). Good dungeon crawling mini game while obtaining another yokai thru the mini game. It's difficult at first but gets simple once you kno what to do.

Liang Li: Very cool roguelike system with a large number of heroes. The collecting short stories idea is unbelievable. Oozing with flavor. One of the best i've played.

Gary Stargazer: This is the best roguelike I've played on the apk shop. It's brutally difficult and you need a fair share of both tactic and luck to hope to survive. The theme is interesting as well and all the yokai play differently, so lots of replay value. Definitely worth the cost if you like a awesome challenging roguelike.

A Google user: Unbelievable mini dungeon journey mini game with roguelike feature! But it's challenging to victory the mini game in normal mode. Hope for Chinese translation!

Jay McGavren: Incredibly deep video test! I was turned off by the dull graphics at first but I stuck with it and now I'm hooked. It's tough but carefully balanced and really well-designed. As just one example: when playing as one of the creatures, Nopperabo, you can possess another creatures. A Nopperabo can possess a Nopperabo, which in turn can possess ANOTHER creature. You can shed any of those layered skins and resume fighting as the creature underneath at any time. The mini game is full of intelligent info like this! If you don't like roguelikes, then move along, you won't have fun this. If you do, you NEED to pick this mini game up.

Toggle Sand: Changing my review because the bug seems to be fixed! Love the mini game, one of the best rogues on mobile. Graphics and sound as video test are new and special. Much suggested.

Briliantino Prihandika Kharisma Putra Sakti: Interesting roguelike concept! It makes the users filled with a surge of high self-esteem at the moment their choosen yokai encounters other same-type yokai (hey you, my controlled kamaitachi will cut you to pieces, you timid AI-controlled kamaitachi!) :))

Libra: More Updates please!! Good potential: fun short mini game rn, the more updates that add premium items for users to do like side quests or main quests, that would be more than just dungeon diving. perhaps stuff you can unblock and wear into the dungeon on a dive, the fresh danji is a good idea and could be heavily flushed out, add as a lot of with as a lot of abilities as possible. maybe even more abilities / methods to make batter and customize them to create each hero have more replayability and customization to each play through. All in all solid mini game, fun time assassin. Please hold updates coming!!!

Chester Henderson: Interesting lore and aesthetic. Favorite rougelike on Android device so far.

Chimaobi Ahamba: Wow, Kemco really picked the right developer here. Mini game has refreshing lore for a rogue-like, challenging video test and we are getting updates now and then! More rogue-likes, Kemco!

Gabriela Santos: A hard, challenging mini game, as a roguelike could be. Each class has wildly various abilities and methods of playing, and it takes skill and honestly a awesome amount of luck to receive through the dungeons. The japanese lore behind gives it a refreshing air, and I've found it hard to not be glued to the mini game, trying to improve!! So far, I'm really enjoying the tricky methods of a Nekomata, and I can't wait to test out more! The developer responds to problems and implements fresh features quickly, and this has blown another mini games out of the water to me. It's been worth the cash and I can't wait to see what more comes to it!

Birdo Bonkers: Easy roguelike with hardcore difficulty and Apple II era graphics. Unblock youkai by defeating the boss on the sixth floor. Every opponent becomes a playable class.

Simon Redgrave: Excellent roguelike - lovely old-school graphics. Nice to see Kemco trying something various.

Mike Mingo: Love this! Was not expecting a roguelike from Kemco.

Pit Icarus: A really fun old school rogue style mini game. You receive 3 various classes to select from at the begin and you can unblock up to 20 from the looks of the hero choose skin. It's easy and quick pace most mini games taking 10 to 15 mins. Unlocking yokai is a challenge which is nice on a smartphone mini game. My largest complaint is the d-pad, it just doesn't feel right to me no matter how I mess with it in the options. However it isn't a major problem as it works for the video test style and the mini game itself is one worth playing.

Cris Austria: Beautiful rougelike mini game with an added twist!

A Google user: If you're into Japanese folklore, this mini game really surprised me with the creativity of the developer's implementation. I love it!

A Google user: Best mobile rouge like I've played.

Avery Verdi: I positively ADORE this mini game, easy yet challenging. Plus I love yokai and folklore in general, so that's a large plus. Though, I will admit, the fact I haven't seen a kappa yet concerns me deeply.

P. Pires: Terrific Rogue mini game, created all the more special with Japanese mythology. The only awful things are grammatical errors in some of the lore.
User rated this game 5/5 on 2017-06-18
Tyler Tracy: This is a 5 star mini game, just go into it expecting a brutally hard dungeon crawler (I play a lot of these types of mini games too, and...Ouch.), because if you don't, you can receive some major ">=( GAH, SCREW YOU FOREVER!!1!" whiplash from that. The assigned motive from the story feels a bit too massive handed, but that's simple to forget. If you're feeling ballsy, you'll have a awesome time.

Daniel Ramos: S2 Youkai roguelike

KenShiiro: good mini game, a pity its not being updated anymore.

Erik Northfell: Fun, easy, but rather difficult. I love the concept and learning about yokai, plus the mini game has a awesome sense of humor.
User rated this game 4/5 on 2018-03-27
J.A. Neubronner: Needs improvement. While luck being a factor is customary in Roguelikes, this mini game is a tiny too reliant on RNG. I've descended stairs, only to be one-shotted by a Karakasa's Glide attack immediately after arriving on a fresh floor, literally not having a single turn to do anything. On Picnic mode. The game's luck factor needs to be toned down. Otherwise, the mini game is ok.

Aaron Poletti: I love the lore and hero designs for this mini game. I'm just digging in and haven't unlocked any yokai yet but I'm having fun! Worth the cash!

M Westfall: Brutal roguelike with a nice retro aesthetic. Still trying to figure out how to unblock a hero... That should be a tiny better explained. Worth checking out nonetheless.

Sanya Blaire: Good mini game but so hard. Type of nice that it doesn't just hand things to you but dear king. Even on simple mode I die. Really like the dozens of heroes but I can't unblock them lol. Overall would definitely suggest.
User rated this game 4/5 on 2019-06-28
Maru: feels very unbalanced and almost early access-ish. some heroes are just method underpowered compared to others. completely possible to receive very far with the blue lady but my boy parasol is so weak. Getting fresh yokais also feels ridiculously slow and too randomized, doesn't feel like an accomplishment at all in the end.
User rated this game 3/5 on 2018-03-11
V. M.: Difficult It's a lot harder than I thought it would be and you can easily burn out just replaying. It takes a while to unblock anything.
User rated this game 3/5 on 2017-06-03
Jas Jas: There is a rare glitch where going upstairs will create the hero stuck.
User rated this game 3/5 on 2018-07-06
Bubbles the Destroyer: Decent mini game but without updates specifically with fresh content this mini game falls short of being a genuinely awesome mini game.

Michael Anuzis: Love roguelikes, but unsure why this mini game was rated so highly. Makes sense no gratis trial is accessible, because the few of us who purchased it probably wouldn't have had we been able to test it first. It's an admirable effort for someone's first mini game, but there are method, WAY better roguelikes out there that are 100% gratis with no advertisements that operate on an optional donation model. (e.g. Shattered Pixel Dungeon) Yodanji has weaker mechanics, visuals, and overall video test. When comparing it to what feels like a more honest approach from alternatives, it's hard not to feel a bit scammed by the forced purchase to test it out. With about 100 "purchases" at this time of writing, it makes sense the first few are so positive from the game's creators and circle of mates. I don't have fun leaving harsh reviews, but feel compelled to receive some honest reviews out there for others considering purchasing. If Yodanji's developers wish to ease their guilt, I recommend offering a gratis trial with an option to activate extra features via purchase.

Michael Reck: From what I have played, this mini game is far more luck than tactic. I would be doing good and then some creature kills me out of nowhere. The furthest I got was two scrolls on picnic mode. I trust that this mini game should be awesome, but, at the moment, I search that you have to rely on R N Jesus's blessing to receive anywhere. I also accept with other review on here. If I had gotten the possibility to test this mini game before paying, then I wouldn't have bothered buying it.
