  Douglas Fils: takes a bit to receive used to Really like YouTube for Android device TV. Took a bit to receive used to, but once I got used to it I can fly through it. Voice find is necessary to use for best experience. Only problem, for some reason all my "watch later" videos don't present up.

  Bart Boryczko: I have two easy requests for the YouTube apk for Android device TV: - Stop bringing up the menu and covering up the screen for EVERY BUTTON PRESS on the remote. If I'm just fast-forwarding or rewinding, I don't wish to see the interface cover the content - Search some method to allow us know if a particular video has been watched already. The Recommendations list is full of videos I've already seen, and it's a waste of my time. Otherwise, it's a good experience on the Shield TV device.

  Samuel Sarette: Not as awesome as the PS3 Youtube apk. When you're playing your subscriptions, you have to hit "back' at the end of every video and manually play the next video. It could treat subscriptions like a playlist! Also, it doesn't have apk connect help, assuming you'll use the Chromecast Youtube items instead. However, it's still YouTube, which has replaced almost all of my another TV watching. At least my everyday watching habits.

  Luis Del Rivero: Let people to press "up" to receive rid of the pause menu. It's obtrusive and gets in the method of the video. Sometimes we pause to receive a closer look of what's going on in the video and not have almost half the screen blocked by the title, subscribe, and the really big "pause, quick forward, rewind" menu. All another media apks do this and so does that YouTube apk on andriod ,ios , and on the web.

  Brian Vermette: Want there was a method to "Like" and/or "Comment" on a video. I use this YouTube for Android device TV apk on my Nexus User and while its not awful, I do have a few recommendations like adding a method to "Like" and/or "Comment" on a video; I would like to be able to see the entire list of videos on playlists and choose one; see what video got deleted and actually remove it from Watch List"; And well basically use the apk like I would the YouTube apk on my Android device Phone.

  Anthony Varnes: Meh. Nice interface, better than the Roku ver of the apk... more in line with the browser experience. However- it adjusts for lower bandwidth HORRIBLY... the Roku Youtube apk is infinitely better at streaming Google's Youtube content than Google's own device. Hopefully that will be resolved once they place a tiny more effort into their product, or at least present a tiny love to us on the outer edges of broadband. I would love to have a method to tell the apk my target bandwidth to maybe assist minimize the constant buffering.

  Michael Brown: This apk does the basics. I'm able to watch videos just ok as well as hold up with my subscriptions. The main downside is that I can't at least like or dislike videos. It seems as if I am back to when Youtube was in it's infant stages. Now only that, but I can't even subscribe to a channel on this apk. What's the deal?

  Thomas Hoang: For 1080p videos, this apk is beautiful much excellent. 4K is where it fails. It buffers when it wants to and I can never predict whether it will work or buffer endlessly despite my 37Mbps connection. Also, the 4K 60fps videos always freeze, making them beautiful much unwatchable.

  Ian Jackson: Meh I prefer the Smartphone apk. It's better laid out. It seems that I spend alot of time flipping through the channels and not enough time watching whats relevent. It could also let you to simple share something you've watched with either G+ or other social network. I'm also interested in seeing what they are watching.

I live in Europe and I would like to see local content in news and top trending etc. This is one of the fundamental settings that you need why is it missing.

  R Mullin: Google needs to add an option to be able to set video quality for players who have bandwidth caps imposed by their ISPs. This apk defaults to the highest accessible quality if you close out and return to the apk. Once I set the quality, it could maintain that setting until it's changed by me. ISPs are jerks for imposing bandwidth caps. Having apks that allow you control your usage is priceless.

  Evan Buchanan: The UI (rating, subscription, etc) controls have returned resulting in a very usable interface. However, the latest modernize introduced an problem with the screensaver on the Nexus TV. When the screensaver comed on, playback now stops. This is very annoying as a lot of videos don't resume properly. The trouble is even worse if you are watching a playlist as the UI drops back to the first item leaving you to figure out where you left off. Once this trouble is fixed, the Android device TV ver of the apk will be up to speed.

  Fast question "Does Google read any of this" it's mind blowing that the YouTube apk for Android device TV is lacking a much touted feature that it could have had since Nougat was announced, PIP (Picture in Picture) mode, I've went to Twitter to voice my frustration but it didn't seem to assist, you'd think this would be one the first of Google's apks to utilize this good fresh feature, I mean come on, What's the keep up ? The only another thing I'd like to recommend is the option to add a video to a playlist (like you can in the mobile apk). Hope somebody from Google is reading this and has an reply :/

  Matthew Carnevale: This apk feels.... neglected. Serviceable only, but not good. Why, for example, isn't it possible to subscribe to channels with this apk? This seems like a beautiful primary feature to leave out. Especially for an apk that's written by Google for their own platform. Should be good, but right now feels like it's being left in limbo.
