Motivation behind ZoeticI lived next to a building website for 18 months and, from the begin, decided to take regular images of the construction's progress. I took just less than one image per week. I did not carefully set up each shot. The only constraint was that I took each image from the same window of my flat. I had assumed that by the end of the construction I would be able to easily search a tool that should stitch the images together to make a film of the 18 months. When I discovered such an apk did not exist (or at least one that didn't require a lot of effort) I decided to make one. IntroductionHow has your appearance changed over the years? What about your children’s? Your parent’s? Your garden’s? What about the results from the latest few, very noisy, months of the construction website at the bottom of the street; from ground breaking to the completion of an upmarket apartment block? If you have the desire to visualise such changes, grab the images and allow Zoetic present you. In fact, if you can search a very old photograph of a local place (perhaps one that even pre-dates vehicles!), all you need to do is pop out and take a photograph of the same place and then, just with those two images, Zoetic will produce a video of the stage transitioning from the awesome old days to as we are today. What is ZoeticGiven a series of photos, Zoetic creates a video of the photos' topic changing over time. The topic would typically be: 1. A stage that is fairly static. For example, a landscape where the photos depict the changing seasons, or a building construction website that moves from “ground breaking” to the building’s completion. or 2. An object versus differing backgrounds. The object might be a person, with the photos showing the person from birth to as they appear today. What Zoetic is not• An photo “morpher” which produces unnatural results or requires a good deal of skill from the user. • An application that requires carefully controlled scenes with identical camera and lighting conditions from one shot to the next. Indeed, the basic motivation for creating Zoetic was to be able to use any accessible snap-shots. Zoetic Standard v Pro versionsThis is the Pro ver. Compared to the Standard (gratis) ver it has no limitations on the number of photos that can be processed and the maximum photo input and video output resolutions, beyond the limitations that the Android device OS and the user's device might impose. The Pro ver contains all currently accessible Zoetic functionality, such as camera functionality and production of the Additional Videos, and will also have added, at no further cost, any fresh Zoetic functionality that the author introduces. It is recommended that you test using the gratis ver before purchasing the Pro ver to receive an understanding of Zoetic's capabilities.
