  A Google User: Very Intuitive If you have aprs experience, the interface will be very simple to understand. The features using the internet side are very awesome. My Asus Nexus 7 works very well. If you already run aprs and have an IS pass code, you could use it, you don't need other. I had the tool up and running in less than five mins. It appears that it is using its own server, so you don't have to figure that part out, nor do you specify the range/distance you wish to see reports from. Nice job!

  David Soss: I had only one trouble I just got the apk working on my nexus 7. I am using the mobilnkd TNC with a Alinco DJ-V57. It also works with the server mentioned in the setup note about using a LotW certificate for authentication. I had a trouble getting it transmit, but I got a tip from the FAQ that helped me search the trouble. It appears that the apk will not send a report unless it gets a current awesome place from the GPS. I was testing the system in my basement! All I required to do was to move upstairs.

  Aaron Tusko: Very fun apk. So far I have used it with an arduino running MicroAPRS firmware via a bluetooth connection, and at another times a audio cable directly to my android device device. I just ordered a mobilinkd TNC2 to use with this tool also. With the audio cable I am stuck using a radio with VOX which means I use my UV-5RV2+. But when using an external TNC with PTT signal I can use my VX-6R.

  Carlos Santini: tried to kind the passcode (letters), it wouldn't agree it, it only takes numbers, then I requested a numeric passcode, it was denied. I sent once more for a fresh code, this time was numeric and it worked. There is more than one source to receive the passcode, the right one is the one you receive from the apk. Everything works like advertised.

  Jim Coombes: Fails to take into acc call sign variations in the UK. Fails to take into acc call sign variations in the UK where we must alter our call sign prefix by UK Country e.g. G ~ England, GM ~ Scotland, GW ~ Wales. When requested they do not provide an alternate activation code to let such call sign modification, which is needed by UK regulations. Otherwise it would be perfect. Modernize: OK thanks Georg.   Chris Arnesen: This is one of the best APRS clients I'm aware of, even on another platforms. I really like that APRSdroid can be used to do wireless text messaging along with the position reporting. If you're looking for your APRS-IS passcode, please do a Google find to search a passcode generator. Alternatively, the developer does provide a way to use SSL authentication with APRSdroid, but I suggest just getting your APRS-IS passcode since it can be used with all APRS apks and sites.
