CardDAV-Sync is a CardDAV client for Android device to synchronize contacts. Due to its implementation as sync adapter it integrates seamlessly with the default contacts app. (Also check out CalDAV-Sync) Important note for Android device 4.1 and Samsung players: To prevent the removal of your accounts on reboot install this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dmfs.jb.workaround.carddavsync At show, Samsung players still need this workaround, even on latest devices. Also note that a lot of Android device 4.x and 5.0 devices need the workaround to prevent removal of accounts during an apk update. Without detailed error description I often can't do anything especially when I can't reproduce it. al darm: Worked perfectly for me "straight out of the box". First thing I did on my Nexus 4 was to install this apk and place in iCloud settings. It immediately synced, and I should see all contacts straight away.

A Google user: It is unfortunate that with all the resources Google has at their disposal, they still cannot justify adding help for the vCard Extensions to WebDAV ("CardDAV") Internet Standard... But this is where CardDAV-Sync comes in. Not only does CardDAV-Sync fill an un-necessasary void, but the application looks good and thus far, has worked flawlessly for me. If you're an Android device player and you need help for CardDAV, then look no further than CardDAV-Sync!

Han Sytsma: I have a easy Y9300 Chinese telephone and used to sync it with the Exchange connector to the Google Server. (No sync options through the normal connector) However Google stopped help to this kind of connector and I lost my contacts. I installed de gratis ver of Carddav but had some issues with it. Marten helped me out with it (sorry for keeping the firewall closed at first), I even got a demo ver. So today I installed both Carddav and Caldav (same for calendar sync). Both apks are working awesome. I am very satisfied with the option that you can configure the data links to use in the sync process.
