This is the companion apk for the GlanceFace watchface. Yahoo Weather provider does not work anymore, Yahoo EOLed the weather api. Use DarkSky instead. After you begin the apk, select your device from the settings menu. If you change something in the settings, you have to wait for at least 5mins for it to appear on the watch. This is a limitation by Garmin. App does not begin automatically after reboot. This is intentional for now, you have to begin it manually. If the watchface on the watch is updated, you may need to do one of the followings: - Disconnect and then reconnect your watch, or - Select None in settings->Garmin device, then select your device again This is because the apk only sends changed data to the watch (since the latest send) and only sends everything after the first connect. KNOWN BUGS: - A change on the smartphone reaches the Watch after only 10mins. Unfortunately I cannot do anything about this, Garmin is working on a fix. (see here: https://forums.garmin.com/forum/developers/connect-iq/connect-iq-bug-reports/1274768-transmit-in-backgroundservice-only-happens-in-every-other-cases) - Latest notice status always: FAILURE_DURING_TRANSFER. This is also a Garmin bug, and they are working on a fix (see here: https://forums.garmin.com/forum/developers/connect-iq/connect-iq-bug-reports/158068-). A somewhat workaround for this is rebooting your smartphone and starting the apk again. For the DarkSky weather provider, you have to register an acc on darksky.net and copy your secret key from here: darksky.net/dev/account to the settings->Developer API key Permissions: - android.permission.INTERNET Weather updates are download from the internet. - android.permission.READ_SMS Required for unread sms count - android.permission.READ_CALL_LOG Required for missed calls count - android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION Required for weather updates and sunrise/sunset time calculation - android.permission.GET_ACCOUNTS - com.google.android.gm.permission.READ_CONTENT_PROVIDER Required for unread gmail counts - com.android.vending.CHECK_LICENSE Required for checking playstore license - android.permission.READ_CALENDAR Required to check for upcoming calendar happenings

Mohamed Maguid: This watchface / apk promises to display your calendar item on the watch face but very time I test to activate this on the watchface, Garmin connect crashes and the settings revert back to default. Disappointed and left wanting a refund

A Google User: This apk does not work and help fenix 5x as the developer doesn't own and has not inspected it on 5x. So if you are buying it for a garmin fenix 5x as you have been mislead by the claim thay it works on it, you will waste your cash
