Sleep apks often play soothing sounds such as binaural beats or white noise to assist you sleep. No one really knows which sound technologies are optimal. With your assist, The Harmony Project by AcousticSheep can explore the most effective melody, rhythms, and sound patterns to assist listeners fall asleep faster. By rating what works for you, you assist crowd source highly optimized sleep soundtracks. We call our soundtracks Sheep. Each Sheep is encoded by a set of "genes" that control the song, background sounds, pitch, rhythm, and another such elements. Sheep rated highly would be allowed to "reproduce" and pass on their genetic material to successive generations of Sheep. This artificial intelligence system will progressively improve the soundtracks. In the meantime, your part is simple. - Download the apk. - Listen to a track designed to assist lull you into sleep. - Rate how well the track helped you sleep. (Select from one to five stars--half star ratings are allowed.) Your data is aggregated along with thousands of another citizen scientists to produce successively more effective generations of sleep soundtrack.
