BTW, if you don't know what a HEX editor is, why would you buy it and then give it a 1 star rating because you don't understand it, especially as the gratis ver is not restricted in any method and you can try it first?

  Scott Steinhart: I've been looking for a utility like this for a long time. I'd give it 10 stars if I should because it supports root. This apk is very simple to use. It took me less than 2 mins to receive comfortable with it. If you're looking for a "sector editor" kind apk, this is the only one you'll need. My compliments and thanks to the dev. Definitely worth the price!

  Justin Whitmore: Good apk for hex editing on Android device! Easy interface and the advertisements on the gratis ver are not terribly annoying, though if you do a decent amount of hex editing its well worth the $3.99 for the full ver. Random note, the binary compare function seems to be broken in the recent ver (worked before the latest modernize). I know its noted as alpha but before it at least tried to work, now it won't begin the files at all. I'm assuming it will be fixed soon, still worth 5 stars.

  Mike H: It worked ok until I downloaded the recent ver (3.1.26, I trust). I'm having the same trouble that others have described - the save button immediately sends me to the play shop. Not being able to save my changes makes this apk all but useless. I also can't set root permissions (other symptom of the same trouble, perhaps?). FWIW, I've been using the paid ver since April, 2016. I would have given this one star, but I know that there's a helluva nice apk behind these bugs.
