Welcome to iAngler Gulf Red Snapper! iAngler Gulf Red Snapper (iAGRS) is a pilot reporting project for Florida Gulf recreational anglers to voluntarily report their fishing trips through the iAGRS phone apk. This is a real private-public partnership between the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and Florida’s recreational anglers, through the Angler Action Program. Anglers can report their fishing trips targeting Gulf red snapper using the gratis iAngler Gulf Red Snapper mobile apk, or the site www.angleraction.org. Anglers who register in the system and report their trip and catch info can use the apk and site as their private and personal fishing logbook, tracking necessary trip info that can assist them recognize their private angling trends over time. Angler Action will maintain and protect the database, then report certain aspects of the info to FWC, which will assist biologists and managers better understand fish populations. Your participation can lead to a brighter fishing future, so begin logging today!
