  Dewi Beynon: ... far superior to ios first release. A few glitches, fonts, gradients, and sequencer solidity but very very usable. Search the Lemur resolution: in the apk under Project in the menu and use that for the custom resolution in the editor to resize templates. On an FHD+ smartphone it's likely to be half the hardware resolution, presumably to reduce cpu drain. Real for retina ipads too, so no short change here. Impressed and I'd been waiting a long time for it. Otg usb midi would place it in overshadowing ios place...

  Todd Carlisle: I literally bought an Android device smartphone solely to run Lemur. I was already using it on my iPad to control background apks along with my iPhone aka Mini Lemur. I was expecting a disaster considering Android's impossibly fragmented ecosystem, but you all pulled it off! I consider myself lucky to spend around $200 total for what is essentially a top of the line midi command center. Think of some of the limited hardware controllers on the shop in the $200 price range that Lemur can not only emulate but exceed.

  Rob Katz: This is the best DAW controller apk accessible for Android device- hands down. I got a Samsung Tab A 9.7 for this specifically for Xmas, and luckily the apk was on sale for $10. The main reason for my interest in this was because I've worn out the USB cable on a few pad-based MIDI controllers (Trigger Finger, MPD32) so the idea of a wireless controller with editing tool was very appealing and so far, I love it. I first was relying on the Player Library from the site (all the IPad templates work perfectly with my smartphone) then I started creating my own. I like how you can edit a project through the editor and see instant results on your smartphone with no wire required, but I do want this ver had the in-app editor that the IOS has. Still, this ver is much easier to customize than the original since you don't need an Ethernet cable.

  Rufus White: Seems to work ok on my Sony Xperia z2 smartphone, although in a strange resolution that requires scrollbars. It would be good if there were more resolution responsive apis built into the editor, so you should build something that was resolution independent. Full screen mode is also definitely required! I will try my own templates later, but just wanted to thank you guys for finally bringing this to Android device!

  Jeff Laity: There has been a long-standing bug with HD displays. You need to "cheat" the display to 239dpi to create it work at HD. Will this ever be fixed? The apk hasn't been updated in a year.

  Kristoffer Stenström: It works on Sony Xperia Z2 Smartphone. However the resolution seems to be locked to 960x520 which is a awful match both to the Z2 and noticeably also to the Android device reference smartphone for Lemur - Nexus 7. Changing the resolution to the Z2 native resolution within the desktop edit tool only results in scroll bars since the apk doesn't actually change resolution accordingly. Possibly I'm doing it wrong though. Setting up is a bummer, but that's arguably not Liine's fault. Maybe their daemon tool should expose MIDI-ports directly so there was no need for an additional third party tool (that isn't bundled).

  Geo Maciolek: I can handle the non-intuitive player interface. But, it's literally the only apk on my device that won't work with USB midi devices/interfaces (I've tried three various ones). Dozens of another apks are able to communicate over USB-MIDI ("Host Compliant") devices. Android device 7.0 (LineageOS). And yeah, dozens of another MIDI apks work GREAT on it, just not this one - the one I actually care about working.

  Salvatore Di Guido: Apk outdated, this is what i have done to use it: The editor apk on windows must be run as administrator, or it will not able to shop settings. To use the correct android device device resolution, i had to change the Display Size setting to minimum. To adapt a template to your android device device resolution, you have to make a custom resolution for your device on Lemur editor, load the template on the editor(using the connection utility and activating the sync option), say yes when it asks to stretch it, then on the Lemur apk go into the settings, click on the loaded template name and save it so that it will remain on your device, also you can save it locally from the editor to have a backup. By following the above steps i can use it without issues. Also a missing feature is that it cannot use hardware midi interfaces, hope that at some point it will be updated and will be improved.

  Dave Morgan: Had to do a bit of work to receive the Live Control template (the reason everyone buys this apk) to fit on my Nexus 10. Clips scroll off the screen and never come back. The touch points on the sequencer don't align to the button photos. And then there are the crashes. Let's hope it improves in future builds. In the meantime I'll have to build my own templates.

  Andrei Popa: Pathetic, absolutely pathetic, really tried to create this work on various systems and tablets for a long time, can't even do easy mappings, chances are it's going to double map something on the same address before you even receive to map 10 stuff. Customer help does not reply most of the time, and sometimes it takes months to reply (no joke) and when they do, it's this bored dude, who will stop answering if your trouble is not solved after 2 replies. Because this was not working I got Touch OSC and it works straight up, it's 4 times cheaper and is much more straightforward. Having to connect the lemur daemon each time is a drag and cumbersome and it feels like 1998. As far as I am concerned this is a scam these guys are pulling off using the Lemur name, they bought the name from the original Lemur, but that is the only connection to the original. I really feel cheated and robbed by these guys.
