A Golden Geek Best Solo Board Mini game Nominee, Onirim is a card mini game where you play as a Dreamwalker, lost in a mysterious labyrinth, and you must explore the oneiric doors before your dreamtime runs out - or you will remain trapped forever! Wander through the chambers of dreams, hoping that possibility will reveal the doors, or linger in each kind of room. In either case, you will have to deal with the slithering Nightmares which haunt the hallways of the labyrinth. Onirim is a solitaire card mini game. You must work versus the mini game to gather the eight oneiric doors before the deck runs out. You can receive door cards either by playing cards of the same color three turns in a row or by discarding one of your strong key cards when a door appears from the deck. In both cases, you will have to decide the best use of each card in your hand and carefully play around the Nightmares. Those cards are hidden in the deck and will trigger painful dilemmas when drawn. In addition to the exciting solo mode, users will have fun the intuitive player interface, automated deck management, and statistics to track their progress and successes versus the game! Heather Hazel: The graphics and melody leave me unsettled, but I love the mini game itself a lot. I'm not the best at tactic mini games, but this wasn't too hard to pick up at all (the guide was really helpful, actually, as well as watching Zee Garcia play on his channel). During actual video test, there was a unbelievable level of stress, excitement, and frustration (I felt like I had to war to victory almost the whole time, but it wasn't overwhelming once I became acclimated to the mini game), as well as a rush of relief when I finally won my first mini game on my own. I definitely appreciate how the base mini game is ad-free AND gratis to play. (No offense meant to the creators, but the tabletop ver is far too expensive for me via Amazon). I'm very satisfied that tis was introduced to me, and I plan on playing quite a bit, when time permits. I'd also like to share some advices for fresh users like myself. 1. LEARN THE DECK so that you can actually strategize and know what you're doing. 2. Hold an eye on your labyrinth AND discard pile so you know what you could or shouldn't discard. (I messed up so much by just looking at the discard pile alone.) One latest thing to the developers: the text in the guide doesn't look awesome. I think you could use a better font. Thanks for reading my verbose review, and thanks for creating such a unbelievable mini game for Android device phones! :D
