Also, as of Android device Nougat, Active Processes tab will present only one apk, Easy System Monitor itself. This is because Nougat has restricted access to /proc directory where info about running processes are retrieved from. Please bug Google about this problem instead of me :) *** END NOTE*** Simple System Monitor, as the name suggests, is a clean and easy system monitoring apk for your android device device. It graphically shows usages of different system components. Features: • CPU usage and frequencies for each core • Total CPU usage and average frequency • CPU frequency graph for each core • Time spent on each CPU frequency state • GPU usage and frequency* • RAM usage and ability to clear RAM • Network activity • Disk I/O activity (internal and SD card) • Try disks' read/write speeds (internal or external) • File browser with help for primary operations (copy,cut,delete) • Cache cleaner (optionally requires ROOT) • View list of active apks and processes and their CPU usage, RAM usage, network activity, PID and UID. • Slay processes as ROOT (only works on rooted devices)** • View temperatures of all of the thermal zones • View battery health and temperature • Ability to hold running in the background despite being swiped away from the latest tasks list • Floating mode - shows system monitor data on a tiny floating window on top of another apks • Dark UI theme If you see "..." for one or more CPU frequencies under the CPU monitor graph, restarting the smartphone could solve the issue. *Only Adreno GPUs are supported at the moment. Sometimes the GPU stat info may not be available/accessible in the kernel even if the device has Adreno GPU. In such case, "..." will be displayed instead of a frequency. If you don't see the GPU monitor, then your device's GPU is not supported. **Using ROOT to slay processes is not suggested and could be used very cautiously. This is exceptionally common in computer monitoring apks, such as top, though this is the first time I've seen it on Android device. David Berry: Good add gratis monitoring tool.let's you know what your droid is doing every millisecond & helps you search battery & background data sucking apks. Used it to moniter temps on my note 7 so it's kept me in the loop & warns me of any spikes in battery for cpu temps. Never been above 40degrees c. Sam E: Works good. Only thing I dont like is that there are no widgets. It lets you begin windows that stay on the screen (didnt know android device should do that) but I'd prefer a widget too so that I didn't have to begin the apk just to take a fast peek at what my smartphone is doing.

Nathaniel Rafferty: Well, this is the best, ad-free system monitor. I have been using Windows most of the time, and this brings the Task Mananger "feel" into Android device. I like the simplicity of the apk UI, implementation of Material Design, and the automatic mode between dark mode and light mode depending on system time. Cache cleaner and file manager is handy, too. Conclusion : easy but useful. Krep up the awesome job for devs out there!
