I noticed a bug with ver 1.0.0.186. The decimal point was misplaced. Reported it on December 11. Got a response within hours and a fix within a day! For those who are using gratis ver and thinking to make batter to Pro, don’t hesitate!

  Andrew Terentyev: More work is required for this to be usable in the field. For example, (and please correct me) nothing is done about ammunition temperature; so even though you've entered it you still need to manually calculate where you are on your temperature/V0 curve and change the muzzle velocity under WPN to receive close for a first-round hit. The UI is the best I've seen on Android device, and the apk is good as-is if you're in a range environment and wish to quickly change shooting distances. The phone's orientation setting isn't respected, so if you're moving the device around the apk keeps switching between portrait and landscape with an annoying splash-screen delay every time.

  Michael Raney: Good product Usally nothing deserves a 5 star. But i had a question about the apk and went to the assist section and low and behold the reply was not there.But.. an email to ask questions was. So its Sunday afternoon and im sitting on the couch playing with the apk and send off my question. Within 10 mins I had my answer and the reply to my question and since then the minor problem has been corrected. The apk works good and is spot on out to 500 yards for me. And i have no doubts it will work ok out to 1000.

  Philip Dion: Just upgraded to the Pro ver after using the gratis ver for some time. Tried a few apks and this has by far the best feel to it. I'm satisfied with the performance so far and I haven't found any problems yet. It was well worth the make batter, lots of extras accessible. Especially being able to save multiple bullet and rifle settings and to be able to generate and export tables. Good apk.

  Richard Piotrowski: A Couple of Stuff On the Want List... Nice that there's a less expensive Ballistic Calculator that allows the use of G7 (and others) rather than depending on G1. I'd like to see a change to pull in data into the Calculator directly from the Pressure Sensor in my smartphone. I'd also like to see an entry for the Barometric Pressure at the time of Zeroing the ammo, rather than just Powder Temp. (Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I Zero at 60 degrees and 27.2" Hg and if I'm now shooting at 60 degrees and 26.5" Hg, there could only be .7" Hg adjustment, rather than what I'm assuming the Calculator is doing in adjusting pressure down from 29.92" Hg.) (It also took me a while to figure out that Wind Direction could be set relative to Direction To Target rather than a compass heading in degrees. If I'm shooting Due West and the wind is coming from NNE, the setting needs to be from about 4:00 O'clock, rather than 1:00 O'clock.)

  Doug Hollis: Awesome apk I've used the apk a couple of times at 600 yards and the data is spot on. If you have a few weapons systems and multiple types of ammunition in the apk you need to verify that the data you are looking at is the correct combination of ammunition and weapon system. It would be nice to link the ammunition to the rifle to avoid mistakes. The apk developers are very helpful if you have questions.
